Steak 'n Shake

I usually never leave bad reviews but the service I experienced today was horrible. The two servers working Molly and Cindy, were talking to each other from across the restaurant about dirty dishes. Our waitress didn’t come to our table unless she took our order and gave us our food. They both had snotty attitudes. My Frisco melt was tough like leather. I will never be back to this location.

I'm sure a lot of people had given up on Steak n Shake after the poor service across Peoria for years. We heard this location was under new management and gave it a try. Huge difference!!!! The staff was attentive and personable, our food was quick and made correctly and the restaurant was cleaner than before. They even brought milkshakes to the table right away. I'm glad we gave them another chance.

Horribly inefficient! The management at this location needs some serious training. There were no more than 10 tables with customers (1/2 empty building) and it took 30 minutes to get food, and almost 1 hour for our milk shakes. There was ONE waiter (super nice) and two ladies just telling at people. The cook was also tending to the cash register for those that waited up to 5 minutes to pay so they could leave. To top it off, they mixxed up the toppings on our shakes. So the banana shake has rieces chunks on it and the peanut butter cup had nothing on it
