Steak 'n Shake

I got turned on to steak N shake some years ago and I enjoy the meals. I find the people that work there personable and the burgers great. The price is right too. And, when I'm short on occasion you have good deals too. I guess I'm a fan.

While ordering, the lady at the speaker had very poor manners, very unwelcoming. We also had a very long wait. When we got to the window, our server dropped some of our change and promptly closed the window without a word. By far the worst experience I've had at a fast food restaurant.

I don't know what the lady's name is with the short blond fro but she gives great customer service. Everytime I go there she makes sure everything is right and she's nice! She needs a raise. Thank you for being a great customer service worker! I appreciate you!

I've seen Steak 'n Shake locations for years as I travelled across the US but never stopped... Until the other night and I've definitely been missing out. I had the jalapeno crunch burger with onion rings and my friend had the Wisconsin butter burger with mushrooms added onto it and fries with Parmesan and herb seasoning. Both were far better than I imagined that they would be. Thin, crispy patties and flavorful toppings. I ordered a chocolate chip cookie dough shake to go, she a birthday cake shake, and they were also delicious. Two meals (extra for the onion rings and seasoned fries), both with cokes to drink, and two shakes to go came up to just under $25. Not bad at all for what we got and we will definitely go again when we're back east.

The servers inside are very prompt and efficient. the cleanliness of the facility itself leaves much to be desired. Bathrooms and the dining room area are rarely cleaned. The restaurant is rarely mobbed or tables wipe down. The biggest complaint that I have is of the drive-thru, very slow it takes anywhere from 10 to 15 minutes normally to get a order. These are my biggest complaints that prohibit me as far as recommending or giving it a four-star rating.

I've been inside a couple times and food was always good and never had any problems. Food was great and Iove the onion rings. I've been to the drive-thru twice and it's always been the same girl Tiffany and she just knows how to make someone's day! She talks to you and doesn't just take the money and hand you your food. Even with a mask on and all the stuff going on in the world she made it a great encounter!

Oo i missed steak n shake so much! I used to work at 1 and haven't eaten the food since.i got a garlic burger and a large fry with a cup of cheese and it was everything. No complaints here I wish they would bring back the shooters tho!

By far the worst experience there. I don't know if there were new cooks but the food was not up to par. Plus...it isn't a good experience when a waitress is arguing with the boss and everyone can hear what's being said. Crazy. This location is normally a good spot to eat at. Definitely not today.

This was the BEST steak n' shake that I have EVER been to! Had the dark chocolate shake! Freaking-yum! It was clean, service was was quick! I was pleased with the whole experience, other steak n' shakes I have been to have been terrible... this was a wonderful end to a long night of black Friday shopping.

The server was great and he was so friendly with my dad. He loves to talk to people and the server didn't disappoint. The food is always good but you have to watch the hamburgers are not always thoroughly cooked. It is always clean and the service is quick

Just about everything we ordered was wrong. I asked for no onion, ended up with lots of them. Kids asked for apple sauce, they got fries. Didn't get sauce on a burger that said it came with sauce. Wanted a cheeseburger for the kids, no fries.......still gave us fries and got charged for them. Before we left we ordered milkshakes to go, had to wait 15 minutes for them and then they put them in cups meant for shots, not milkshakes. Why write the order down if you are still going to get it wrong. No bueno.

Today I had the worst fast food experience of my life, I ordered two burgers in the drive thru and after paying I was told to pull up and wait. After 30 minutes and over ten other people going through the drive thru I pulled back around and told them that I never got my order and they asked if I ever even pulled up to the window to begin with, I said yes and then they stopped talking to me I pulled to the window and they shrugged it off with a “sorry didn’t see you” (I forgot to mention that someone came out and asked us what we were doing there). I don’t think I have to say that I’ll never be back, absolute waste of almost an hour of my time.

Awesome experience just went for a burger and shake. Service was fast and food was savior sweet! Great job Steak n Shake.
