Steak 'n Shake, a classic American brand, was founded in 1934 in Normal, Illinois by Gus Belt who pioneered the concept of premium burgers and milkshakes. For over 85 years, the company's name has been symbolic of its heritage. The word "steak" stood for steakburger. The term "shake" stood for hand-dipped milkshakes. Gus was determined to serve his customers the finest burgers and shakes in the business. Today, Steak 'n Shake remains the "better burger" leader, serving premium 100% beef steakburgers, hand-dipped milkshakes, thin crispy fries, and more. Steakburgers are made without preservatives or artificial ingredients, topped with fresh produce, and always hand-crafted to order. Other classics include the Frisco Melt, 7x7, Prime Steakburgers, and fan favorite M&M milkshakes.

I ordered the frisco melt..needless to say it wasn't melted and bread was barely toasted...disapponted

Went in and was seated within minutes, but once at the table we sat at the table with absolutely no service for over 30 minutes. I then went to the counter and spoke with a server saying no one had even spoken to us much less taken our order. She went and told who was supposed to be our server the issue. After another 5 minutes still no one had approached us, so we got up and left.

Sometimes it happens, still trying to figure that out.

At least this steak n shake is clean. Don't EAT AT THE ONE IN ATHENS!!! THE PLACE IS DISGUSTING! if you eat in a dumpster you'd be getting tge same effect.

There are other orders in front of yours?

My hubby and I went by to have a burger and found them to be completely closed. The notice on the door said they were only serving drive through 7am 11pm but no one was there. Maybe they were closed by the health dept.

Their breakfast hours are midnight to 11 AM

The one in delonega closed too.

The staff sometimes play to much....ive only ever been super satisfied with my meal is when skyler was working...but i dont think he works there any more:'(. Rip great service
