Steak 'n Shake

Slowest service in the world. Fully prepare for 30+ minutes in the drive thru line. Every time, no matter how many cars are in front of you. Even if you're the only car.

Will never be back!! Gave it a second chance and was even more disappointed! Food took over 30 minutes because the "fryers weren't on", yet the manager was walking around eating! Burger buns were hard and fries were definently cooked in old grease!

Our group had intended to get a quick bite to eat and we ended up being there almost two and a half hours altogether. It looked like there were only three employees in the building running around and trying to do the work of an entire staff. Granted, the food was DELICIOUS, but it took almost an hour before they even took our order, and they messed up our checks as well. Not trying to hate on the employees necessarily, but this has happened before at multiple locations recently. Honestly, the future of S&S doesn't look good...

The name is Steak and Shake right? We went there to order our sandwich and a shake but was told the person that makes the shakes had just left so they weren't serving shakes. A little bit later we saw a man sitting at the counter drinking a shake. We were leaving so I was going to get one to go so I asked if they were serving shakes now and was told the ice cream base was frozen. The place was dirty. My coleslaw looked disgusting. Will not be returning to this location.

Absolutely filthy. Not clean what so ever. Sat there for 35 minutes after ordering food. Not to mention there was 4 tables WITHOUT food, so not busy at all. Apparently only one cook was working but yet we saw two people in the kitchen cooking. Never will I go there again. Ended up walking out 45 minutes after ordering food.

My husband & I went in around 10:15, ordered eggs hash browns & biscuit & gravy. Mine is pancakes eggs & sausage. Aftr like 30-35 minutes We were served with a plate of eggs sausage & hash brown We waited..My husband finished his coffee. Mine already cold. Past 11 we still dont hav our order So we just decided to ask for the check. We did not eat but pay for our order & left the server a tip. TAKE NOTE: Not the servers fault

There a great little restaurant hope they dont shut down because of covid 19!

Its alright for fast food but they need to do a better job of telling us when they're cleaning their grill.

Cook literally quit during his shift. Worst burger I ever had and this company produces really good food but this location was terrible. If it wasn't for the waitress doing manager and everything else plus her job the whole place would have fallen apart

My rating is NO Stars! Not happy at all!.. Sad! Waited in line for 2 hours for two sandwiches and a fries and drink. Got off work at 1. Didn't leave the drive thru til 3 :15. Never again. Only because my kings was hungry.

I can understand closing the dining room late at night due to crime, but at least open it up in the morning. Serving breakfast during breakfast hours is usually the norm for places that serve breakfast.

An absolute nightmare. The wait staff had been rude. The inside is dirty. We went thru the drive thru WAITED FOR 20+ minutes after ordering finally got our food and it was COLD like it had been sitting for an hour. The women brought us our food (outside) and we told her we were missing our coke and she just walked away did not ask us for our receipt or let me get you one, nothing. I go inside and say I'm missing a coke. Then the woman who brought us our food started saying I was lying and I didn't order the other coke. The manager just gave me another coke because I was already irritated from waiting. When I go inside I expected it to be busy since we had to wait so long but no, barely any customers were in there and workers were standing around. One Coke came with a meal then we ordered another one. That was the worst part to have a grown woman yell at you in front of people that you were lying.

Worse experience. 30 minutes in the drive through and the woman working the drive they had a fry in her mouth while telling us it will be a couple minutes. A couple?

One single person working in the building, I'm waiting here in the parking lot 45 minutes after they took my money and didn't give me a receipt. Nothing against this worker, but corporate should just close down on days like this, or at least close the drive through.No comment on the food yet, still waiting...
