Steak 'n Shake, a classic American brand, was founded in 1934 in Normal, Illinois by Gus Belt who pioneered the concept of premium burgers and milkshakes. For over 85 years, the company's name has been symbolic of its heritage. The word "steak" stood for steakburger. The term "shake" stood for hand-dipped milkshakes. Gus was determined to serve his customers the finest burgers and shakes in the business. Today, Steak 'n Shake remains the "better burger" leader, serving premium 100% beef steakburgers, hand-dipped milkshakes, thin crispy fries, and more. Steakburgers are made without preservatives or artificial ingredients, topped with fresh produce, and always hand-crafted to order. Other classics include the Frisco Melt, 7x7, Prime Steakburgers, and fan favorite M&M milkshakes.

I am legitimately concerned about what’s going on in this establishment tonight. There seems to be only one young lady running the entire service and she seems to be struggling to fulfill every order she’s given. My Grubhub order apparently never showed up in the computer system either, so I suspect the poor thing is dealing with a gauntlet of technical issues as well. Is it even legal for a business to make one employee run the place?? These are unacceptable working conditions and I can safely say I will not do business with any restaurant that puts their young, struggling workers through a nightmare like this. I’m hurting inside just thinking about what she’s going through.

This place seems to be pretty good. Food is always good service can vary. One time we went and they said it would be a wait because the cook had quit🤷â€â™€ï¸.

Excellent customer service today here. They accidentally gave me the wrong order, I came back and they fixed it no problem and even gave me free fries with it and changed my meal because I asked them if I could. Thanks to the Terry who came to the window who was extremely polite. I’ll be back here again, thank you for a seamless customer service. Much appreciated!
