Miss this place, had fantastic food, quick service and very friendly staff

Not directed to this location however it’s a franchise and probably across the board. Pictures are no where near what you get on the plate. Let’s start with the burger... soggy buns, meat burned to a crisp. Fries..... ordered seasoned fries paid EXTRA for someone to sprinkle some parmesan cheese could make better fries at home lol. Coffee came in a styrofoam cup with a lid didn’t know sitting down means Togo? I guess it’s what we get for a place that specializes in shakes? Didn’t try a shake

Our server was great, and the food was awesome. Everything was fresh and hot and was made exactly how we ordered it. It's a step up from McDonald's but not quite as fancy as going to a regular restaurant. It was a nice atmosphere and was clean inside. It could be very inexpensive to take a family there, is they had specials where you could get a hamburger french fries drink and aside for $4. Will definitely go back for a quick bite.

Fast and friendly service. The food was delicious as always. I ordered the premium sandwich and was pleasantly surprised at the size of the hamburger patty. The milkshakes were very thick and flavorful.

The food is incredibly delicious, however the wait time is sometimes a bit long, and other tables take their time getting cleaned...

The past 2 times my friends and I have gone, after 8pm, the milkshake machine was being cleaned. We made sure to call ahead this time so that we would know if we could have their shakes. It was being cleaned again so we went to Cookout to get shakes and then go get food at Steak N Shake. When we arrived we brought our Cookout shakes in and the cashier and waitress loved it because they knew the machine was being cleaned. The manager told the waitress though that it wasn't allowed for us to bring in food, that it was against the policy and apparently against other restaurants policy. So we went back to Cookout (with Taco Bell and Wendy's), ordered more food, and ate. Cookout said they were totally fine with it.

I ate here for the first time and the last time on Friday evening this week. Had a burger and fries at about 6:30 or so. At a little after 9 I became severely ill. After a considerable amount of thought and research I have no doubt I was, and still am, suffering from food poisoning from the food I ate at this steak and shake location. This location doesn’t have good reviews and that kept me away for a long time. Just looking for something quick and cheap I took a chance. Paid the price. As of late Sunday morning i am better, but still feeling the affects. With many of the reviews I’ve read and now my experience I can’t imagine this place remains open for much longer. Just don’t eat here.

Stellar on the pocket, came with a group of 7 and managed for everyone to get fed and enjoy milkshakes for around $50 or less! Had a good time.

The service is always so slow and not very accurate. The restaurant always looks dirty and the bathrooms are just yuck. The food is good once you get it but except at least a 30 minute wait for a burger and fries.

Would love to give this place ANY review - but the last 2 times I tried to dine here, there was a 20-30 minute wait. Usually - that doesn't phase me. However, both times, there were plenty of open tables, no manager in sight, and other disappointed customers waiting at the door to be greeted. Clearly they were incredibly short staffed. (Both times.) This is not meant to be a description of bad food or even bad service. Hopefully, the owners/operators/proprietors will adequately staff this location so that more people can enjoy your food.

Took a little time to get to the table but food was great and shacks were WONDERFUL

Okay, Steak 'n Shake is usually hit or miss (meme has ruined that phrase for me), and it's usually a miss. I had a 7x7, which I nicknamed "Nana no nana", and a Nutella milkshake. Both were really good and had me craving more. The place itself could use some cleaning tho

The food is delicious and awesome. The store is clean Avery cozy. BUT THE STAFF, they need serious training. Not happy at all with service we received when we stoped last couple of times

Avoid at all costs. Cockroaches in building (discovered as we were leaving). Extremely poor management and staffing. My husband and I waited 10 minutes to be seated while the manager bussed tables despite that there were more than enough clean to have seated us. We ordered a bowl of chili, two orders of fries, and two milkshakes. It took over 35 minutes to be served. There were only 13 customers in the restaurant. The service was awful. I almost feel bad saying that the manager, Jen, has no business working in a management position because she is clearly a hard worker and ... It is just a fast food restaurant. But, if this was my business (it would never have gotten this bad), I would want to know. This manager clearly had no clue how to effectively task her staff, manage her own time, or how to interact with customers. I didn't even bother speaking with her about, it would've been pointless.
