Steak 'n Shake

Our group of 4 went in and waited 5 minutes to be seated. Waited 10-15 minutes and finally we all decided to leave. Service horrible wouldn’t even rate it 1 star for service. Wish I could have eaten to review the food

My friends and I stopped in while on our road trip and we could not have been happier with our visit! We had the most amazing waitress, she kept our drinks full the entire visit, and she was even fun to joke around with. The only issue was that we had huge chunks of ice in our milk shakes. That was it though. Keep up the great work guys!

Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else or bring a lot of time. The place was pretty good in the beginning but they changed the crew. The employees are not interested in serving customers and it is almost sickening to see them work at this slow pace. Went there a few times now but ended up leaving every time after nobody was serving after 15 min. Freddy's is just down the road and has awesome and quick service.

They just opened last week but our experience was awesome. Seated quickly, waitress was very nice, food came out fast and hot. Prices are incredibly low. $5.49 for a pattymelt and fries is awesome. Over 5 Stars!

We had good service and the food was good. We got there for half price shake happy hour, 2 to 4 and I had the spaghetti 5 way and my son had a burger and fries. I love this place for the cheap eats. The fries are thin and really good. I haven't had a bad meal here. It is a fast food atmosphere, something like 5 Guys.

Dining area could have been cleaner. Service was fast and food was fresh. Very reasonable prices.

my mom and i decided to have steak and shake for lunch, when we arrived it took about 5 mins to be seated, then it took about 10 more mins for our server to come to our table. We then ordered our food, drinks, and milkshakes, we received our drinks and milkshakes and we waited and waited for our food. people were constantly coming in complaint about the food. After 51 minutes of waiting for our food one of the servers said they never received our order, so our server lost our order, keep in mind she kept telling us our food would be out shortly. never received our food. Not to mention that the bathroom was disgusting, there was a door hanging by a thread, a toilet that was not working that lead to water being all over the floor, and it smelled horrible. Terrible service. Wouldn’t even give them 1 star

Good food and nice staff. Service was slow. We are easy to please. We just like to have drinks. So when 3 of us have no drink left and can't find our server that tends to ruin an experience.

47 minutes after the waitress took our order, she said told us it would “still be a while” to get our food. Other people seated before us also did not have their food. After waiting several minutes longer, we gave up and left. The place isn’t very big, and not all the tables were occupied - can’t imagine why it was taking so long. Only four in my group.

Good food. Glad they made the burgers a little bigger. Great change from the other burger places.

Nice new building. Looks clean from the outside. Dead bugs stuck to the tables. You can see the staff do not clean the tables between customers. The owner should spend some time in their investment and do more basic training!

Took 2 hours to finish getting service for hamburgers french fries and milkshakes. The burgers were tasty… Sadly we won’t be returning because it just took too much time :(.

This Steak n Shake is great! You get a wide selection of great burgers, 2 options for seasoned fries, and table service at a fast food price. Try the garlic steakburger (if you like garlic) - you will thank me.

This place is worth giving a shot. They have big portions for fair rates. Consistently clean and with awesome ambience. I highly recommend this place.
