Statesman Tavern

The courses we had were all amazing and the service was very attentive and personable. The space was a little tight but not uncomfortable. I would recommend to friends for sure. Thank you for a great new year eve meal.

I visited the Statesman Tavern for brunch this past Sunday. I’m glad we made reservations, because it was busy when we first arrived. There menu selection was fantastic - and our food came out promptly. They offer a couple of brunch appropriate drinks for those who are so inclined. I look forward to going again to enjoy their offerings at other times of the day. Be sure to give this restaurant a try!

Awesomeness! Statesman has never let me down!

My first time in Rhode Island and I just can’t get enough of it. This location is great for food, dates, bar sitting etc... you must try it out. And the host and our waitress were awesome ladies!

A wonderful dining experience and a must for your list. We enjoyed brunch and looking forward to going back for lunch and dinner.

Go for the family style chicken dinner special Tuesday night. Awesome and tasty. Collard greens and whipped sweet potatoes were comfort food sides.

Good atmosphere and great menu

I've been to the statesman twice. My first experience was better than the one I had last night. I waited two hours for three tacos. Considering this was taco night I thought it was a bit of a whate . One of the tacos was a menu special, fish taco. More batter than fish ,the table next to me got a piece that look more like something from fish and chips. The staff was very friendly and the bartender makes a great drink but I feel two waitresses for 15 tables is not going to cut it in this place. I hope the owner can get it together because the atmosphere is comfortable , the menu has a great variety and it's reasonably priced. I will give them another try . Maybe I'll try chicken night.
