Soooo the platnum blonde with the wide ass bullshitted me and my friends about ordering food but took someone else's order afterwards. Terrible service. Asked a barback for service and i was acknowledged and walked away from. The most uncomfortable I've ever been at a bar and I literally WORK at a BAR. Too bad i can't give this zero stars.. I've never been here before today but i can say in certainty i will never be back

The one bartender was overwhelmed and frustrated with the understaffing. Not a good way to run a business. Kegs were empty and no one was available to assist in replenishing the empty kegs. Excellent potential with its location.

Great beer selection quick service

Good beer selection, two competent bartenders that offered samples of this local brewery to make sure we liked what we ordered. It is clean and it sits in the middle of the building, so you can grab food and sit there and enjoy it with a good beer.

I absolutely love it here! They have over 40 different taps available. There are also daily beer specials where they offer $3 drafts. You can get your beer, leave the tab open, and wander around the Waterside district eating, socializing, and having a good time!

Spencer is a really great server & personality. Flawless service & huge selection of drafts too.

Service was terrible, was completely ignored for about 25 minutes. This was a Friday evening at 4 pm and around 5 people sitting bar.

The Starr Hill Market Bar is located inside of the Waterside District "Market"; a venue holding a few bars and restaurants inside. It is located at 333 Waterside Drive in Norfolk, Virginia.I have been to The Market several times, and have enjoyed a drink from the Starr Hill bar each time including a beer that I now call a new favorite (Wild Wolf Honey Blonde). Have not attended during crowded events, only during weekdays while in town for business, and the place has never been crowded. The bartenders have been nice, pleasant, informative and good at their job -- so don't forget a decent tip for them!I do plan to stop in here again, when back in town, for dinner and a drink or two. Very nice that it connects directly to the Waterside Marriott via a walking bridge that crosses over the roadway.

Cool place. Lots of food and drink choices. Huge TVs easily accesible/viewable from nearly every seat.
