It was a decent Starbucks but my venting mocha ended up only being about 3/4s full. I had no idea that whip cream would result on 1/4s worth of coffee not being in a cup...

It’s a Starbucks, what else can I say. Over roasted coffee and quick service. Nothing impressive or bad in particular at this location.

Don’t come in when it’s busy...about six seats!

I have been around the world and I don't even live in Boston but I keep coming back to this tiny Starbucks on Charles Street any time I visit the city. It is tiny and generally only suitable for passers-thru but if you are lucky enough to score one of the 6 seats along the window, take a minute to collect your thoughts, drink your coffee and take in the charm of Beacon Hill. There are no restrooms here but there are some available down the street at the much larger Starbucks at the corner of Beacon St. Come here for the charm and the coffee.

Small Starbucks -- bigger one with more light just down the street by the Boston Common. As for coffee, try a local place on Charles Street!

Starbucks is an institution when it comes to coffee shops. Consistent taste, knowledgeable staff, efficient in their service to the client, the atmosphere is comfortable for a Parent and child to enjoy some rime together as much as a casual business meeting as much as a coffee with a date. This is a coffee shop and there is no feeling that you must get your coffee and get out.And that's why I look for Starbucks where ever I travel

This Starbucks offers friendly and timely service. It’s small, but convenient.
