Wonderful location! Attentive service and decent drinks. The food is meh, especially for the price. Consider it the price you pay for the location. Feels like a getaway.

Such a beautiful place! I was a little worried because it was raining, but they adapt the tour to make sure you can still do it. Also, the staff is really friendly and willing to help. And the best, you can enjoy there a really good cup of coffee with an amazing view.

I traveled to San Jose for the work and I was able to tour of the coffee farm. The inexpensive 1.5 tour was a great experience and definitely worth the time spent learning all about how coffee beans grow, are harvested, and then processed to sell. We had an amazing tour guide named Raquel and she is very knowledgeable and a great teacher. At the end of the tour you can learn how to sensory test a fresh brewed cup of coffee. Then after the tour they have a shop where you can order coffee or an appetizer and sit down in a relaxing atmosphere to socialize, enjoy the nice breeze, and listen to the waterfall. This place is a definitely must see if you are ever visiting San Jose.

If you love coffee then you should come here. I can tell you you will learn a lot. For example, I learned that I’ve storing, preparing and drinking coffee incorrectly my entire life X-DYou gotta take the tour, it is worth it. The venue per se is really nice and cosy. Perfect to watch the sunset with a cup of coffee between your hands.

What a spectacular new place in alajuela Costa Rica. I lived in Alajuela for over 5 years and this is an exceptional addition. If you’re traveling or touring Costa Rica, make sure you put this on your list to do. You can go inside to the cafe and order a drink and pastry and take in the beauty of the coffee bean farm. There is a small waterfall and the grounds are just stunning. Perfect parking areas available. This is one of my highlights of this trip. The coffee and got chocolate were phenomenal. So glad I took the time to go here.

Didn’t even get a tour and I was still impressed! You get a nice view of the plantation from the Starbucks cafe. I’d recommend getting the Ice Cream with espresso pictured below!

The views from this location are specular. Watching the process for coffee bean production is quite amazing. The trees were loaded with beans and the leaves looked great. They have a very nice coffee bar, but can't do frappe's. That to me is not good. Still a beautiful place to visit.

This place is unique. Fascinating, full of history and just inviting to linger and relax. Those booking a tour here will get their money's worth for the $ 30: every half hour, a 90-minute journey through the life of a coffee bean starts. Starting from the cultivation to the coffee tasting at the end. Everything close up. Incidentally, Starbucks of course gives some self-promotion regarding Sustainable Management and Ecological Conscience. The overall concept is right. We take home many positive memories and will never forget our personal VIP guide Meli (Melissa).

Josh was such a knowledgable guide and I learnt so much from him about how coffee farms are run and some of the social programs that Starbucks supports in coffee farm communities. We tried our hand at picking coffee beans in the plantation and enjoyed a cup of coffee at the end of the tour as well. The best part is taking in the beautiful scenery at the cafe and sipping on more coffee with some delicious cake! I'd highly recommend going for the tour and staying at the cafe for at least an hour or so - the view is just amazing!
