I've got a gift card for Starbucks.

I was just at Sheridan Square Starbucks nyc, to purchase two pounds of coffee with metal grind. There was a long line and the two women at the counter were chatting it up ignoring the long line. After waiting at least 5 minutes I gave my order and sat down to wait for the coffee. After paying for them the person identified as the manager handed them to me without closing the tops. When I asked her to close them she said she didn't know how. I believe her name was Shellah or something close to that. Finally, the other clerk It was check number 720887 I have beem buying two pounds of Summatra Dark Roast for a number of years and never encountered such incompetence. This person should be fired. First if she is the supervisor not knowing how to close a coffee bag properly. Secondly, not apologizing for the bad service. I will think again about going to Starbucks. Especially if she is waiting on customers.

Renovation turned out to be big disappointment.who on the earth would think of having such chairs in a cafe.it is so uncomfortable that my back n butt started hurting in half n hr.Dont even get me started with space utilization.This place had it's own charm with cool adults ,coffee n their laptops before renovation..but now😴

Bathroom was gross. Service was ok. Very crowded and not enough outlets. Decent enough to take a break for a few but I would pass if I had more time to find another one.

New changes were made, very spacious and welcoming!

Didnt feel like a starbucks. Had a couple of shady characters sitting up front, maybe due to rain they came in. There was even a panhandler while I was there for like 30 min. Oh well, its west village after all.

Store was renovated and now there are fewer seats . Store is infested with tiny gnats so who wants to stay there anyway.

New "renovation" is terrible concerning the seating situation. This Starbucks definitely needed a renovation after 14 years BUT now they took 50% of the seating away. Local people come to do homework, work on the computers, have business meetings or just hang out. There is SO MUCH extra room in the store that it almost looks empty. There should be more tables with chairs and no "comfy" chairs so the homeless that frequent the store can sit and charge their phones and NEVER get asked to leave !! Very disconcerting and they should think taking the baby chairs out and making it feel like a Starbucks !!!!!
