Starboard Galley Restaurant

I simply loved their food. I always get good service here. The place is well kept and the staff members are always nice. Would recommend to others.

Nice ambience and views. Service was average. Food was not great. Fish and chips were bland, did not get Tartar sauce. Server told me that fries were hand cut. They were clearly frozen

We have always enjoyed the Starboard Galley. However, our last 2 visits we noticed a change in the food. It's not rhe same since the owner oassed.

I'm conflicted in writing this report. The place was nice, friendly waitress, fast service. Enjoyed all of my meal which I shared with my +1, only I ate the clams. While up violently sick at midnight, barely made it to the restroom🤢. But, in their defense, the menu had a disclaimer "raw seafood may be hazardous to your health! Therein lies my conflict. Thought my clams were cooked!

Baked stuffed haddock topped with lobster cream sauce. Delicious!

Cozy feel, reasonable prices and good food

Brought my family there for dinner. I had high expectations but was a little disappointed. The seafood was either a little over cooked or not the freshest. My wife had a side of green beans... Canned green beans. My daughters both had clam chowder in a bread bowl which looked decent enough. We would probably not go back in awhile given the many other choices in Newburyport. Good atmosphere though.

The poke tuna roll was delicious. The service was great, too.

Attentive, fast and friendly staff and good food at reasonable price with harbor views. The average age of our fellow lunch diners looked to be in the senior citizen range. Seniors know where a good value is and this is one!

This place is worth a try. They serve large portions for affordable rates. Constantly well organized and with fantastic vibes. I highly recommend this place.

Relaxed, quiet enough to have a conversation. The menu is basic but the food is very good. The fish and shrimp dishes are all good.

Enjoyed lunch here out on the covered patio.
