Standing Ovation Cafe at Beacock Music

I keep trying this place to keep business local, but they seriously have the worst customer service. The staff seems to think that their job is to huddle together and ignore the customers. There’s usually 6 or more staff standing around in the center and you have to ask to be helped or even check out. Guess I’ll head back to the GC where they at least know how to acknowledge customers.

Great selection. Friendly staff. Lesson studio....and you can have a cappuccino while you wait.

To have a place like this in this part of town is a godsend! We purchased a piano here because we wanted local support. They delivered and set it up at home. All the staff I've encountered KNOW music and some of them play multiple instruments which is very helpful when I don't play, but want to and unsure of what I'm looking for. As far as quantity, there seems to be no end whether it's strings, brass, percussion, etc. I've been over several times now shopping guitars and they helped me pick out a few and set me up in their private lesson studio so i could session each in private for as long as i needed with absolutely no pressure to buy. There's also a little coffee shop in the back and a place to sit which I think is a nice touch to the whole experience. If you're in the market for musical instrument, don't cross the river until you check out Beacock!
