I had the sweet potato waffle. It was wonderful. I added a large side of bacon. It was a terrific meal. The service was great.

Super cute diner! Very clean! Very fast waiters and fast servicing, came in at 11am, ordered 3 pancakes dishes out at 12pm. I had chocolate pancakes, delicious, good price, very chocolatey. The blueberry scone however was dry and flavorless. Overall, it was great.

I had never been here before but saw a line out the door when I road by. The sign says “Good Food and Plenty of It.” Well, I am confused as to why there was a line out the door or am I missing something? I got the meatloaf and it was neither good or plenty. I said to myself for $10 bucks, you get 1 very hard biscuit, 1 dollop of mashed potatoes, 3 tablespoons of green beans and 2 Very thin slices of meat that is the equivalent of what you buy out of the frozen section in TV dinners. 🙄👎🏾 I wasn’t expecting this at all.

Breakfast is available all day! Terrific pancakes and other bakery goods. Some gluten-free items. Big booths and seating for groups. Clean restrooms. Getting into parking from opposite side of street can be a little tricky. Overall, a great family restaurant!

The food was good, but the service was terrible, sat for awhile before a waitress came by. It took way too long to order drinks & receive drinks, to order food, & receive food and they weren't busy, lots of empty tables. While I was eating the waitress not once but twice tried to take my plate before I was done eating. The second time I was stabbing a piece of sausage with my fork as she grabbed my plate. I told the manager about my experience while paying, and his response was "I'm sorry you feel that way" I'll continue going to East 74 across the street, they have friendly wait staff, the food always come out super fast, and the $5 breakfast is hard to beat.

Absolutely incredible all around, great service, AMAZING food all made from scratch, huge portions, and an almost unbelievable selection. Worthy of well over 5 stars. 😁

Loved it! The food was great. Customer service was awesome. I would definitely recommend for anyone who wants a good breakfast/lunch spot. Food envy was common among customers across tables.

Simply put, just a great all around diner. Great food, large portions and reasonably priced. Wait staff is attentive. My "go to" place!!

Food was great. Low rating is because of service. Long time to even come to take order. In fact, host noticed and came to take. While taking, our waiter came to 'finish' taking. Never came to check on us. Tea went empty. Never came to fill up tea glass. Been a really long time to have that type of service. Will have to think long and hard whether to go back.

Breakfast was good. I had the big daddy skillet and the steak and eggs. I also had the fish sandwich for lunch which was really good as well. Would definitely return!

Great place for breakfast ( all day ) or lunch. Food is ample and well prepared. Servers are all friendly. It is what you want in a neighborhood cafe.

Stacks is the bomb Diggity breakfast spot in Matthews. I have been here a few times and I will definitely go more. There menu is huge and everything is made fresh to order, expect a crowd because it's always busy. They are only open 6am till 3pm you can get breakfast all day. My mom got a cheeseburger and french fries it, she fully enjoyed it, had to get a to go box it was a massive burger. I had the western skillet ham, green peppers onion hash browns, eggs and cheese it was scrumptious. And the grits were creamy, perfectly cooked deliciousness! The only 2 small issues I had were our waitress had a hard time understanding questions we asked because of a language barrier. And the driveway is CRAZY hard to get into the restaurant sits up on a hill crossing Monroe road is dangerous and then the dip on the way up can cause serious drag on the bottom of your car. I still highly recommend eating here you will be happy you did!

In the area for a concert and saw this place had good reviews. However, I was not expecting this place to be this amazing. Amazing customer service, amazing food. I had a South of the Border with bacon omelette, grits, sausage, and a whole wheat waffle. The menu looked to good to make just one choice, so I made a few lol. This place is definitely a favorite of mine. My favorite breakfast place on the East Coast. Serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert. Most definitely a one stop shop kinda place for all types of amazing food.
