Stack Southern Bistro

Great food, very slow service. We had burgers, fries, brisket, catfish, corn casserole and okra. All of the food was very good and we could recommend it all. We did have to wait for an hour for our food to come out and it wasn't a very busy night so that was pretty frustrating. The apple pies are good. Skip the bourbon pecan pie however. Not even close to enough pecans for a southerner. Its selling point is the bourbon taste but it isn't enough to rescue the lack of pecans.

Food is okay but too expensive for what it is. $30 for two burgers, two sides, and one sweet tea. Service was nice but the kitchen is pretty slow. It didn't seem to be just us, everyone there was waiting a while for their food. The fries weren't bad, but it seems they took them straight from the fryer and into my basket, so they ended up soggy and greasy. Burger was pretty good. Probably won't return just because it's too expensive and service isn't so quick.

By far the best burgers in town! The food is always fresh. The spicy green beans are my favorite app; they have just the right amount of batter, crunch, and heat. The bar is stocked with over 100 types of bourbon, and drinks are excellent. The atmosphere is great, and staff are always friendly.
