Just had a really great meal at the Saint James public house. Great food... great service ... very nice atmosphere! I highly recommend the BBQ brisket sandwich. For the love of God fix the driveway entrance! We nearly bottomed out the car just pulling in!

Very impressed with the new look, menu and staff. The potato skins were amazing. The Bloody Mary was one of the best I have ever had. And Rob was one of the nicest waiters we have ever had. He had so much personality and charm that we can't wait to go back! Let's try to keep St. James people in St. James!

Cozy restaurant in the middle of Rte 25A in St. James. They had a singer play his accoustic guitar. He sounded pretty good. Next time we go, we'll eat at the bar so we can hear the singer better. Definitely worth a second visit!

Comfortable booth seating, and lots of comfort food on the menu.The food selection is OK. The prices are higher than they deserve to be so that means I won't be rushing back to have dinner here again.Good beer on tap.It was almost empty at 7pm on the Saturday night we had dinner, which surprised me because restaurants are usually packed in Suffolk County, Long Island.Ha! It turns out that we came too early. There is live music that started at 8 pm!!

Amazing night out with my husband! Food was outstanding. The Asian duck wings were fantastic and I truely enjoyed the wasabi sour cream & spicy Asian glaze dipping sauces. The Jumbo Lump crabcake was equally amazing for an appetizer ! I would definitely recommend the cast iron seared filet mignon with melbec demi which is served over roasted garlic mashed potatoes and sauteed spinach and topped with these amazingly thin and crunchy onions. The entire staff was very prompt, attentive,warm and welcoming. The dining area is very comfortable and inviting. So cozy like coming home. We can't wait to go back ! 😊😊😊

Yesterday we had our daughter's communion party at St. James Public House. They did an amazing job! Jessica helped us plan every detail and was so helpful and accommodating. The upstairs room is separate from the restaurant and bar and a beautiful space that accommodated our party perfectly. The food was outstanding and so was the service! I often see posts asking for recommendations for reasonable venues for showers and small parties, definitely consider the St. James Public House!

Well, I made reservations through their website for January 18 for 8 people. When we show up, the building is dark. Nobody inside, no cars in the parking lot, no sign on the door, just closed. The weather wasn't exactly great since it was snowing, but it wasn't that much and when I pulled up the reservation on my phone, it had both my phone number and email address. I was never notified that something happened. Horrible customer service! I would give 0 stars if I could.
