Excellent place for 1920s jazz and great cocktails. The table cost is $15 but you can stand behind the bar and drink and enjoy the music. Highly recommend

Went for the jazz, drinks, and food on a Saturday evening. The jazz was great, albeit a bit cramped. Food and drinks were also good. Knocked down to 3 stars because the hostess was rude and condescending to our party. When we sat she did not inform us that there was a seating limit or a $15 charge per person just to sit near the jazz (yes, they charge you a per person fee to have a table while the performers are on stage for only 20 minutes). Really it would have been fine if they'd just let us know. They also tried to rush us out and took our drinks when we weren't done, so we had to have them bring us another round.

Wonderful time portal bringing you into the 1920s with Miss Maybell and then Baby Soda! No TVs, no indications of anything new (besides a few phones out here and there). All class and much better layout (not quite as pretty) as rivaling Maison Premiere.

In Brooklyn for the weekend checked in Friday evening for dinner and drinks with friends. Was able to reserve a table online. There was a jazz band andthe menu had a nice selection of small plate items. Also had a very nice IPA, it was an enjoyable evening and good atmosphere! Recommended!

Have been here twice. Once on a Friday evening seated away from the stage (but could still hear the jazz--very nice), and once for Sunday jazz brunch. Good experiences both times.

I adore this place. It is a gem and our waitress was the most sweet and amazing server I ever had. The band was excelent, just a thought, I would rather pay for the band instead of the band asking for money at the end of their set. They were amazing. Overall the place is my favorite place to go now thank you.

Since moving to NY I have visited St. Mazie many times for drinks and small bites with friends. The atmosphere is great and I often enjoyed the music. Tonight I decided to visit for dinner with my girlfriend on Sunday night. The food was unexpectedly disappointing. The gnocchi with truffle was spicy and sweet. The risotto with truffle was undercooked and you could barely smell or taste truffle. We decided to give a final chance to the dessert and selected a chocolate mousse with salted caramel and whipped cream. What we received was barely a step above jell-o pudding. Writing this review with hope that it will be constructive to the owners.

NEVER CELEBRATE YOUR B-DAY HEREthe place is very nice and its food is good. We wanted to celebrate a friend here, so we ask our waitress if they had a candle he could blow ( you know the usual courtesy ice cream ball w a candle on top) So without mentioning she brought it along with a small (samal!) chocolate mouse. at the end they added $60.00 for this. Just a WARNING before asking for a candle to blow think that 60 dollars will be added to your bill!

Excellent LIVE MUSIC ,great atmosphere ..Usually I come on a Friday or Saturday night .I think I'd prefer the early Sunday evening for Happy Hour $1.50 oyster before it gets all crowded. # The back yard is a cozy and comfortable area..
