We went for brunch. Out of the dishes ordered by us, I would highly suggest the pancakes and the frittata. The smoky, sweet and salty taste of the pancakes was exquisite as well as unique. The frittata was also very yummy. The waffle was good but not as good/unique as the other two options. Service was excellent and we loved the decoration of the place. Lastly, the list of drinks is pretty extensive.

The service is always very good and the food is amazing. The carrot steak and prime rib were both very good. I would recommend making a reservation as they do get pretty busy on the weekends

was dragged by a friend. I don't even eat steak. Had a good piece of fish and some very good stalks of asparagus. The food and service were both excellent! As a fan of steak, there were many choices and they were cooked to perfection! If you have a special dish that you see on the menu and have your heart set-on, was dragged by a friend. I don't even eat steak. Had a good piece of fish and some very good stalks of asparagus.

Exquisite. What you might picture this place to be is exactly what it is. You feel high class walking into this place. Excellent soft lighting and beautifully decorated. Our meal was phenomenal. I highly recommend stopping by and trying this place out. Even if you don't have a reservation, we were able to get in right away when they first opened.

The pancakes are to die for, with the famous house smoked maple syrup and lots of butter! Kedgeree is very interesting with the pickles, on rice! Catherine, our server, is sweet and pleasant that brightens the experience.

The food is creative but brings traditional flavors to a new level. The atmosphere and wait staff also feels like a comfortable meal with friends. Perfect for a special occasion or just a special meal.

What an incredible venue. We had four of us from USA, Germany, Austria, and Mexico. The atmosphere has a vibe that exudes hip and in the know. The chef prepared exquisitely the dishes. We had five apps and three mains for four and it was perfect (or maybe one app too much).Loved loved loved the milk and cookies.Phenomenal bartender alchemist!

If you like classic cocktails and quality wines, this is a place to visit. Happy hour starts at 4 pm. This hidden gem fills up by 5 pm. The happy hour menu offer eclectic small plates.Prices start around $11.00. If you stick around for dinner you can expect to pay $30.00 on average for an entree. The staff is friendly however, tend to cater a little more to the locals and regulars. We had to ask for a refill after waiting for 10 minutes of our glasses being empty.

Took over the old CeCe’s, which I never made it to. I am glad to see something in its stead. Our waitress was nice and friendly, love her Australian accent. She’s attentive and quite knowledgeable on the menu. The inside dining area seems smaller than the size of the building, it’s quite intimate though. Black Ceylon tea and crackers for starters, on the house as welcome. The crackers have the texture of graham crackers, salty like a saltine. Another person asked if we were done with our crackers less than 5 minutes after they were dropped off to us. We let her take them since they weren’t anything special. I think some fresh bread would have been much better as a starter, in my personal opinion. Trying their house made ginger beer.

Amazing food! Pricey, but absolutely worth it. I've never had carrot steak before, as it doesn't sound appetizing. If you go there, start with that. Everything we ordered was great. I know they do brunch, we went for dinner.Highly recommend going here, everyone needs to experience food like this.

This was worth a visit to Corktown! Lady of the House offered "meat and potatoes" with a creative and flavorful twist. We received excellent suggestions from the staff and really enjoyed the meal consisted of the carrot steak, the cabbage wedge, the lamb, and potato donuts. it wasn't just how each dish was prepared but also the flavors that were used it made this place really special. Look forward to visiting my future trips to the Detroit area.

Yes! We have a link on our website store: http://www.ladyofthehousedetroit.com/shop

No valet.. But private parking lot next to building. Amazing restaurant!

The menu doesn't note specific gluten-free options--but there are many (or dishes that could be adapted). I would call ahead if you're worried ; otherwise, the staff are very knowledgeable and will take good care of you.

Agreed

It is still there, but unfortunately it is not in working order at the moment! We do have it filled with candles though, so you get some of that cozy vibe:) . There is no seating area around it as our entire space is set up with tables for dining.

They request that you got their website for reservations, special occasions and partys
