One of our favorites in all Boston! Perfect for dates and special occasions and entertaining visitors. Highly recommend the tasting menu and ask your waiter/waitress for wine pairing as well.

Union Oyster House which boasts to be the "Oldest restaurant in the country". We came in at around 1pm and were shown two different menus by the host and asked which one we would prefer to order from. I found this a bit odd but apparently that's the way it works as the full lunch menu is served upstairs, while the more bar food type of menu is served downstairs.

From the first moment you enter that restaurant the stuff gives you an agreeable feeling. Very congenial team, it is a lovely restaurant to enjoy with buddies or with your date. yummy cooking, professional chef, modest pay and nice service. Warmly recommended.

Quaint place offering innovative Italian dishes. The prix fixed menu is great. We were able to do slight modifications because we didn't like olives. The portions were small, but the price point is attractive. Extensive Italian wine list. Friendly atmosphere. I think personally for myself, the dishes were a bit too innovative because we were looking for a more authentic Italian meal.

This food here is beyond compare. It was the highlight of my husband’s birthday in Boston. Everything we tried was executed well. The risotto was perfection. There were a lot of vegetarian options available. We were very impressed and will be dining there again soon.

Great spot for date night! Try the tasting menu. It has a little bit of everything.

Wow. Outstanding tasting menu of Venice-inspired cuisine.

Tried this place a few weeks ago. Tried a couple of dishes. The squid pasta was outstanding. The breadcrumbs was such a wonderful touch; added such unexpected texture and flavor. A must try!

It's a good place to eat with family. The food came out quicker than I expected, and it tasted divine. Good stuff all around. All in all, very tasty.

Nice Italian restaurant. The beef raviolis were excellent besides the portion size was a bit small. Highly recommend the tiramisu - it was huge and delicious!

Everything was AMAZING, the food the place and the service!!I liked everything we ordered except the pastas it was not as good as I thought it is going to be, maybe it just needed more salt, other than that every thing else was so delicious!! Definitely will come back!

Such a cute place. Food is so so so good! Only go here if you want to try something new and be totally satisfied! If you're a traveler it is a must visit.

SRV is a great dining experience in the South End. From start to finish you will enjoy yourselves, from the food to the atmosphere it is all great. Reservations are usually necessary on Friday and Saturday, but you might get lucky if you walk in early enough. In the summer they typically have their back patio open, as well as some outdoor street seating, which will open up more tables to choose from. The food always impresses, and they update their menus often so you’ll always be able to try something new. Their pasta is absolutely incredible, and they’re very knowledgeable in the melding of seafood into these dishes. Their wine list is also rather extensive, which adds to the experience. The atmosphere is great, modern accents with exposed brick makes for a great combination that is new and inviting. This is a great staple in the South End and I look forward to dining again.

Best place to visit. The Food tastes so DELICIOUS!! The atmosphere here is beautiful too.

Great atmosphere and decor. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was simply fantastic, especially the desserts!
