This place has a really interesting twist on southern food. Today I had a Ruben sandwich, except the sour kraut was made of pickles collards and the corned beef was pork belly. The restaurant is in two cute old houses close to campus/downtown. It's good!

Spotted Salamander is one of the best food joints in the whole of Soda City! They've got a great steady menu and have different days (burger day, etc) where they offer rotating specials.I've had everything here from a salmon salad to a burger to an alligator hotdog. It's a little pricy, but the execution of the meals plus the incredible staff make it more than worth it. If you go, tell Katie I sent ya!
