About

Spork is a new restaurant on Penn Avenue in the East End of Pittsburgh. We serve a broad assortment of composed small plates with a focus on fresh pasta and house-cured meats. Everything we serve is made from scratch and our menu is constantly evolving. The same commitment to scratch preparation is carried into the bar program at Spork. We serve ingredient-driven cocktails featuring an assortment of house-made tinctures, cordials, and shrubs alongside a curated list of wine and beer.

From the second I walked in, I knew I was somewhere I'd love. Especially with an extensive cocktail menu, I instantly fell in love. The menu itself was otherworldly -- pork cheeks app, mushroom ravioli entree.. plus our meal included bread and a small taste from the chef! 10/10 -- I will be back soon! Oh, and did I mention they have happy hour M-F from 5-7?!

First time thoughts: Unpretentious, creative, delicious. The food was amazing. Highly recommend the scallops, duck, pasta...really, everything we had was fresh and different. The atmosphere was warm and the staff was friendly. Would definitely return. I would also recommend that reservations are made, especially on the weekends.

Loved the perfectly riped, sweet and juicy tomatoes in the mixed green salad. The greens were young and tender, complemented by the chewy and rich trumpet mushrooms and the beautifully cooked egg.
