The food, atmosphere and the service was outstanding. This food was so good...I can't remember the last time I had food this good...Shrimps and grits Fried okraHush puppies Balsamic Pear Mac and cheese Mashed potatoes Fried chicken Biscuit😋

It was practically empty when we got there! Kind of unfortunate because it's a great place to eat. The server was so nice! She even introduced herself to us one by one and although I don't think she memorized our names right, she was very hospitable. Shout out to Schuyler for the excellent service. You can either have a prefix brunch or order a la carte. The brunch costs $27 and included a complimentary drink, an appetizer, choice of salad, an entree, and either coffee or tea. Their a la carte menu are just their entrees. Would definitely go back!

My father was visiting me from South Africa and I was treating him to a show and dinner we decided to just eat somewhere close to the Broadway and happened to stumble upon this fantastic restaurant! We both were extremely happy we found this place!!! The owner personally introduced himself and made sure we were happy!!! The food was mouth watering and both myself and my father spoke about how great the food was even days after!!! Am 100% taking all my people to this Devine establishment!!!! Thank you

Great place in the theater district! I went here for lunch, and it was a great experience! The ambiance of the place is great, too, especially knowing the Broadway community built it. Now on to the food. I had the chopped pork and gravy slider with a side of mac and cheese. Both were so rich and full of flavor, and I was so tempted to order more, but I had to leave. Overall amazing food, great music and fantastic service!

The food was absolutely amazing!!! The Mary Jeane’s meat loaf was the best thing I’ve ever eaten. The owner introduced himself and he and the staff were so friendly and welcoming! Great spot!

Had a great visit to this establishment. Food was amazing and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. For a restaurant in the heart of Manhattan, the Theater district, the prices were pretty good. If you ever yearn for really great southern-style home cooking, check out spoonfed NYC

We were welcomed and seated by the owner Randy whom, by the time we left felt like family. Upon being seated we were given the apples with the vinaigrette which I thought was different but it was a perfect balance between sweet and sour. Our fried okra was great, and the pork chops alone are worth another 2 hour drive. I asked Randy if the greens had a more vinegary flavor or sugary and he said they are the perfect balance of both and he was absolutely correct. I could eat them every day of the week. My husband had the fried catfish. I've never liked catfish but Spoonfed NYC may have changed my mind. The whole meal from beginning to end was excellent! I can't forget our server Skylar, she was fast, friendly and made us feel at home. Spoonfed NYC is southern hospitality in the city!

OMG! Fabulous food, fabulous staff and fabulous atmosphere. First of all, when I read the menu, my mouth was watering-DEEP FRIED MEATLOAF! Two of my favorite things fried and meatloaf🤤. When we arrived, we were pleasantly greeted by the warm decor and the friendly faces of the staff and co-owner. They gave us such a great feeling, showing gratitude for us choosing their restaurant. He made us feel at home and assist the staff to make everyone in the restaurant feel like they were the only ones there. We received our food quickly after placing the order, and as we ate, we couldn't help but rant and rave about the cuisine. To our surprise, the chef came over to our table to thank us for the "praise" that the staff informed him we were giving him. We was nice, humble and extremely appreciative of our compliments! I had a fabulous time and look forward to a return visit.

Food and service just amazing!We got there at 10 pm and there was just one table still eating. The bartender let us in and we were served without rushing and in a very friendly way.We ordered chicken and mac'n'cheese and we were not disappointed at all! The waitress who served us did a great job in guiding us through the menu and let us eating despite the late time. On Sunday they close at 11 pm.It was the best food I had in New York, ill come back!

In a city full of good restaurants this one stands out, very unique experience.

My husband and I take all our friends who come to visit NYC and stop by for lunch or dinner ourselves every chance we get. Everyone raves and tells their friends about it! Yummy Southern deliciousness in a welcoming warm atmosphere! Delightful music completes the hospitality as we "Eat like we mean it, Honey!"

The place is beautiful, warm, and inviting.I ordered the meatloaf and was surprised to see the portion size. I met the chef owner Randy and he is a joy. Dara (bar tender), Darnell (resident singer), and head server were great, as if I met the functional side of family. SC charm in the middle of hustle and bustle. Get the Kershaw mule made with bourbon and the caramel cake. Thank me later!

Picked up take out for lunch. The chicken tenders melted in my mouth and fries were cooked perfectly. Can't wait to go back and get a true dining experience. Quick update - I am updating my review because I went here for lunch and sat outside for 25 minutes before I got up and left. No one came out to take our order and when we got up to leave the hostess said "are you leaving'?" I replied "yes" and the hostess never asked why. FAIL.

I’m sorry but the food at this restaurant is not good at all. The fried chicken was very salty and overcooked, the sweet potato mash had no flavor and the biscuit was as hard as a hockey puck and it tasted horrible. We had dinner on a rainy Monday night so I’m not sure if their chef didn’t show up for work. Everything tasted as if it was heated in the microwave. The food was so over priced for what you get. I mean I’m no food critic but this was pretty bad. We met the owner of the restaurant and he was so nice. We felt terribly embarrassed that the food was so gross. We just graciously told him how nice his restaurant was and ran out the door to never return again.
