Coming from LA where Chinese food is top notch, Spicy Memory have pretty good food. Really enjoyed the spicy twist on memory lane foods. BYOB is definitely a plus, a nice cold beer makes spicy food go down soo well. Only bad thing about the experience is the presence of small flies that hovered over our food; hopefully, it was an isolated case that night.

Spicy memory is one of my go to spots on the block and although I'm not sure where they got the name, I do recommend them, as their food does fit the bill, and seems a little better than similar places nearby. Price is what it is, but we're talking about midtown Philly so no big surprise.

We have been there about 5 times in the past 6 weeks. We had never been there before and decided go on a cold night.What a pleasant surprise.Coy great waiter and food reco.We also had an 8 table tasting event with family over Thanksgiving that was wonderful.Pls try them, you won’t be disappointed!

Had a group lunch with co-workers and everything was fantastic. Lovely place nice decor the food was excellent. Had the eggplant with chili sauce I highly recommend it was just the right blend of sweet and spicy.

the two dishes i got, a lamb and chicken dish, were incredibly spicy. i like spicy food but this was overkill. there was almost as much spicy pepper as meat. good service though.

I love spicy food, so this place was a dream. Went more than once with a large party, and everything was excellent, especially the pork shoulder, the szechuan peppercorn dishes, and the cumin crusted entree.
