Spice Thai Cuisine

Today was our second visit, and so far we've been very pleased. We are by no means connoisseurs when it comes to Thai food, but what we've eaten has been delicious. The gui chai, crab rangoon, curries (massamun and red) , and noodle dishes (pad Thai and drunken noodles) we've tried have all been really flavorful. We also appreciated the selection of Asian beers. This will definitely become a regular spot for my husband and I.

The food was very good, fairly priced and our server was great! She was friendly and engaging. I would definitely recommend Spice Thai Cuisine to a friend.

Exceptionally good food, pleasantly surprised to find this gem of a Thai restaurant in the middle of nowhere. Highly recommended.

Great tasting food, friendly staff. We happened to be there early for dinner, the place got pretty full by the time we were leaving. We would be regulars here if we didn't have to drive an hour and a half to get here!

Came in at 7:30 pm to try Spice Thai for the first time and the server told us the dining room was closed. They weren’t closing for another 30 mins. A complete waste of a 25 minute drive. Won’t be returning.

Horrible- very little food. The food was mostly soy sauce and extremely salty. Will not come here again. (Photo shows 1/4 of the original food, mostly soy sauce).

Spice Thai is my favorite Thai restaurant in the area. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was how clean the place is. Very clean, spacious and traditional. The food is excellent. So far I've ordered the pineapple fried rice, orange chicken stir fry, drunken noodles and red curry soup. I recommend them all. Very delicious and they present their food so well!!

I should have been given negative (-1) if I had option. Service is pathetic, we ordered food, we were told 20 mins for pick up. We reached after 30 min… even after 30 min food was not ready and after we reached they started preparing our order. The fun part was, while we were heading to restaurent we got a call that food is ready and if we will not reach in 5 min they will cancel the order as they are about to close. Would not recommend as don’t want other to go through this situation. We ordered at 6:43 PM, they got it ready at 08:00 PM.

This is by far the best restaurant in Merriville. Stopped to spend the night for a road trip and all restaurants are chain but not Spice! The curry is deliciousness in a bowl and the orange chicken is to die for. The owner is so friendly! This place is a must!

Although we love the food at this restaurant, we had a bad experience today. We ordered 4 meals and an appetizer. Almost an hour of waiting for our meals and seeing people that came in after us receiving their food, we checked on our order only to be told that they forgot to turn our order in. We were told ‘sorry’ but no one tried to stop us leaving. Beware when they are busy, they don’t have enough personnel to accommodate.

The guy at the desk is plain rude and ignorant. If you need a help, hire the help instead of being rude to your guests. Good luck!

The salad had too much spices to be edible…little disappointed. The egg rolls were good, fried tofu was fair

I got the food I ordered. However, the greeter was wearing his mask around his neck, then went back to the kitchen with it still around his neck when I voiced my discomfort. A lady came from the back with her mask on and said he hadn't been near the food as she cooked it. Having said that, the food is awesome even as take out. I love the potsticjers with a sweet heat sauce. The noodles are also phenomenal

Delicious food at a very reasonable price. The owners are very friendly too
