Spice Symphony

The food is awesome here! Literally, the only place in NYC where I have liked the Indo-Chinese food. The spice level was just perfect 👌. I would like to try the Indian food too here. The service was excellent!! People are warm, welcoming and nice. The overall experience was too good.

WOW! Just left the restaurant and couldn’t wait to post this! Just had what might be the best meal I’ve had in a year. My friend and I flew in from Florida this morning with the intention of eating our way through NYC. We love Indian food and this was by far the best we’ve both ever had. We sat at the bar and let the bartender choose our appetizer and dinner. SO glad we did! We are going back before we leave. Don’t pass by this little gem!

Food taste good, they don't have all you can eat option. I had lunch special with Indian chicken Platter. It came with 5 little portions of meal. For the price as lunch specials, is a bit pricey compared other restaurants in neighborhood. This is probably very good spot if you're looking for group meals.

Whilst visiting New York back in october we were lucky enough to have found this lovely restaurant, the food was fantastic, staff most friendly and helpful, we all had our own ideas of the Indian food to which we were used to and our waiter was very helpful explaining how the dishes may differ, I myself was talked into having the chefs special of a pepper chicken after three of our group had already ordered the Madras, it was absolutely amazing, my daughter and her partner are in new york right now and I have recommended they visit which has just reminded me I should have reviewed, Rowan our waiter was brilliant. It was my Mother's birthday that day too and all the staff took it upon themselves to gather round and serenade her with 'Happy birthday' and a candle lit dessert 😍 really made the day. It was 100% the best meal during my stay I only wish we didn't live 3500 miles away, great food, great staff, great value, thank you

Simply put, this restaurant was fabulous in every way. The flavors burst out of the food with every bite. The service was exceptional. I simply cannot say enough nice words about Spice Symphony. I will admit, I have only visited this establishment once, and I did not have time or the money to order each and every item on the menu to ensure that each dish is as amazing as my review.But I can honestly say this restaurant is a new favorite of mine.

I found this restaurant searching for a good Indian that was close to the theatre, and not too expensive. This is the BEST Indian food I have ever had. The ambiance leaves a little to be desired, but the service was attentive and the food just incredible. AND they don't charge a fortune! Would definitely return when in the area. Excellent service for our large group (10). Great variety of authentic Indian dishes, all of which were delicious, hot and well prepared. Lots of vegetarian choices! Knowledgeable and helpful staff in helping choose dishes, selecting spice level, and pacing the meal service. Lovely space that is well appointed, classy, and welcoming. Nice cocktails with a good whiskey selection. Highly recommend for business meals.

We were in the area and were looking for a good restaurant near by, Spice Symphony came up highly rated and we decided to try it. . We tried plenty of Indian restaurants in NY, but could not find the one we loved. Turned out to be really good restaurant. service is impeccable! We've met the owner, Prim. He is a delightful host, very nice and accommodating. I was craving fried okra, but it was not on the menu. Prim talked to the chef and we got crispy okra which was delicious with little fried onions and lemon juice. We talked about the spices and recipes. Overall it was a great evening of good conversation and delicious food.

Great restaurant and reasonably priced considering the location. What we liked was the attention to detail and customized spice blends for every dish. Great wine list. Very attentive service with ample staff to provide good service.

Delicious! If you like hot food, you will love this place. Chicken fried rice was so good and so hot. Everyone was pleasant. The non fried rice is fantastic as well. I could eat the just the rice.

We had a pre-theater dinner here as it was adjacent to our hotel. What a treat! The food was delicious and the service amazing. It felt like we had 3 or 4 servers always keeping an eye on us to be sure we had what we needed and that we were having a good experience. One of our guests who is a sophisticated New Yorker felt that it was a hidden gem and would return, as would we. I have waited a bit too long to write this review and so I don’t feel that I can give the details needed to describe our dishes but I really do feel that this is a lovely choice for this part of Manhattan.

Unexpectedly upscale Indian dining near Grand Central. Food was delicious, service was quick and friendly. The space itself was crisp and clean. The naan was to die for and highly recommended. Solid spot.

I really liked the food and the ambience. The service was good and the staff friendly. It was a New Year’s Eve hence packed; had to wait extra few min but it was worth it. If you are craving for good Indian food, try this place

Cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. With so many wonderful options in the city this one is added to our must go list. The decor /ambience is minimal but it doesn't matter because the food is good enough to hold its own. We enjoyed a lovely unique wine that was suggested by our waiter and we appreciated the ample modifications made for our dietary restrictions. Food was cooked to perfection and was absolutely delicious. Best Indian food I've had yet.

One of our favorite places in NYC. Ninand is the best and we love coming in to see him and he always makes sure we have a great experience. Food was yummy as always. Thank you! The onion naan is the bomb 💣!
