Good and nice! It’s close to Carnegie Hall and you can stop by here after concerts. You can have typical Greek cuisine here. I took the rest of my food home and had the next day, it was also nice. See you.

Real Greek taste in New York. Nice restaurant with reasonable prices and excellent service.

This place is the best and most authentic tasting food I have had on the way coast being Greek myself and growing up in Greece I can tell you the food tastes smells and looks authentic, the staff is awesome, friendly very attentive will be back for lunch tomorrow !

My favorite place to eat when I visit NYC. It’s like an eatery in the Plaka area of Athens, but with a twist. The Spartan-style sausage with orange zest is to die for.

Souvlaki GR is in a convenient location near Carnegie Hall. The environment inside is nice and really reminds me of Greece. The food was decent so good for a meal but wouldn't be a destination spot to scout out. The one major complaint is that the lamb shank special had some cold parts to it so seemed to be reheated but not thoroughly. Flavors were good though.

Tasty Greek food and atmosphere 😋. The lemon chicken soup was very refreshing and light. Service was friendly and the restaurant was packed. No hot tea. The baklava was perfectly crisp and sticky!!

Came here last May on a whim, and so glad we did. It was so good that when I came back to New York, I knew the one restaurant I’d had to go back to!

Good food, super quick service. Can get very crowded on Fridays and weekends so reserve in advance.

Came here two days in a row. Absolutely some of the best lamb chops amd chicken I have ever had. Top quality restaurant. My favorite style where it feels like there is an authentic old Greek lady in the back making my dish. Loved it!

We were trying to get a snack in the afternoon and found this place near our hotel. There was initially a little confusion about carry out and an order mistake. They immediately fixed their mistake. And the food was unexpectedly incredible. Like ridiculously good. The pita, chicken kebabs and chicken pita were all delicious. If I lived in NYC I would 100% eat here and get car6y out /delivery from here all the time. It was that good. The restaurant was cute inside too.

Great food. Very accommodating. We did not have a reservation, and they were able to get us a seat. We ate the delicious and did not miss the concert (OSNY - BACK B MINOR) at Canergie Hall. Great place. I would recommend.

Very friendly and quick service. However, our main course came too early, we were not finished with the appetizers. The moussaka was unfortunately prepared without nutmeg and without a bit of cinnamon, as it is usual according to the original recipe in Greece and in Greek restaurants in Europe. For people who don't like these two spices, this moussaka is certainly ok, but I missed it.

We ordered 7 souvlakia but they gave us pitas. They made the pitas all dressed which meant that most of the space was taken up by fries, onions, and tomatoes. My pita had 2 pieces of pork in total. Seeing as the ratings are good, maybe we were unlucky, but it was enough to justify not going again.

Good food, but the service was bad. The server forgot to put our order in the kitchen and it took an hour to get our meal in the table. Great appetizers, but the main dish didn’t fulfill our expectations.
