Love visiting especially when 105.9 is in the building... Angie Starr is so sweet. The hustle guy is sweet and patient when teaching you how a hustle go. The food is superb and filling. Will definitely visit again.

The worst experience ever! We made a reservation for 4:00 and got a booth that barely sat 10 people. We waited for our table to get ready which took a hour! We ordered an appetizer that we never received! We finally got our table and the waited forever to get menus, waters and straws. The waitress couldn’t remember anything we ordered and kept forgetting stuff! Fast forward we waited another hour to get our food! But after talking to the manager who was extremely useless and didn’t care what we had to say, we decided to leave and not eat our food! It was my sisters birthday which will definitely be memorable but not in a good way! We try to support black businesses but this is what we get! This business needs to do better to get organized and hire more professional people who move with a faster pace! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE! Keep your money and go someplace else!

Excellent service except for the hostess. Wings were delicious especially the sweet chili! Shrimp was perfection. Ambiance was stunning. Awesome music!!

This restaurant is by far absolutely amazing. From the atmosphere, to the service, and the food you cant go wrong at all. My boyfriend and I drive from Ohio to come here. I highly recommend this place 💜

Atmosphere was stunning! Server was awesome. Hostess wasn't too kind but server made up for that. Loved the shrimp!! Wings were a touch on the sweet side. Mac and cheese definitely south style chunky Mac and cheese. Yams were very sweet. Overall good

I’m originally from TX and spent about 3 yrs in the Greater Detroit area before heading back home. My girlfriend recommended this place, and she knows I’m a stickle for good soul food! I have to say that I visited this place on two occasions and I was never disappointed each time! Food was flavorful and the customer service was 2nd to none!!! This is definitely on my list of places to return to when I head back to Detroit!
