Poor service and very low quality food - not prepared with care or concern. There are better places near here.

Service was great and the place seemed nice, but the food was quite bland in flavor. Could be just what we ordered though... Had the ribs, mac and cheese, and the pit master sandwich.

Went for lunch and it was amazing. Jalapeno cornbread was flavorful without being overly spicy and the pulled pork was phenomenal.

I enjoyed dinner after visiting Chicago360 at John Hancock Center building.Luckily "the Chicago Restaurant Week" is was held, I chose the special menu.Cup of brisket chili with cornbread garnish was very good for warming my body. (outside was very chilly)2 meat sampler menu was my selected meat (beef brisket and pulled pork) and fried potato. That was very good portion and delicious!Dessert was banana cream pie, that was sweet, delicious and very good finish of my dinner.The atmosphere of the restaurant and the room was very clean, stylish.A waitress was very friendly and kind to me. so I had a very very good dinner time!

Food quality: 5 stars.Ambience and environment: 4.5 to 5 stars.Service was good.Quality of food: 3.5-4 stars, depends what you get.Price: 3 stars. They're expensive. At first, it just seemed like "real" BBQ prices on the menu... Real BBQ isn't cheap, you know. But we were surprised that your $16 sandwich... is a sandwich.. only. A side? Add $6-7 for bread, fries, or coleslaw... each. The beers seemed fair, until the draft beer came out in juice glasses. Very small beers @ $7 draft seems high, in retrospect.We won't come back. Way too much $$ for the food received.

The food is SO good! We've been there several times. The steak was delicious. The breakfast tacos and French toast are very good! We had great service!

Had breakfast here by happen chance; it was close by and we didn't have a lot of time to search or wait for a table. It was very slow, but the space was clean and inviting. We had immediate service and a solid breakfast.

The ambience of the place are little dated, foods are pretty okay. We ordered nachos appetizers, Mac Daddy Sandwich, and pulled porked. They were pretty decent. Service was good, waitresses are nice and friendly. It was a decent bbq place.

Great food. They make a watered down old fahioned though (soda water added). I would eat there again but avoid their mixed drinks. Nice outdoor seating with awesome view of the Hancock tower.

If you're looking for great BBQ this is the place to go! I ordered the ribs and was not disappointed! I have sampled ribs all over the country, these ribs were impressive and some of the best I've ever eaten! Must Try! Before choosing the Southern Cut BBQ we read the reviews and found repeated comments stating great food but terrible service. We decided to try the restaurant anyway and prepared ourselves for a long wait and mediocre to horrible service. Apparently something has changed! From arrival to departure after the best meal all weekend the staff was phenomenal! Our waiter, Lewis was courteous, friendly, and attentive. During our meal a manager came through the dining areas twice, stopped at every table to say hello and ensure guest needs were being met. Bottom line, top notch service, great food, outstanding experience.

Our waitress was pretty rude and wouldn't listen to our concerns. She completely ignored me when I asked if my garlic parmesan fries were actually garlic parmesan because the only taste they had was too much oil. The steaks and ribs were way too fatty and the burger was not well done when I asked for well done. The only good thing they had was the baked potato. The place is over priced and I can't believe none of the entrees come with a side. $12 for a barely seasoned burger and $6 for overly fried fries is ridiculous. First time here and definitely last.

I honestly loved their food and customer service, good location next to my house. The staff members are always super friendly. Will come visit again.

Wonderful setting and nice service staff. The brisket itself was disappointing and had a lot of fat in the portions that I got. Great location but I would need to try the food again to know if this was an off night or this is an issue.

Great business dinner location. Perfect set up for the group. Attentive servers and very good food. Loved the Jalapeno Cornbread.

I was there with a native Texan and all of us enjoyed our meals. It's a very nice place. It's not a place you would go if you were looking to experience something that is uniquely Chicago... but it's very good BBQ.
