Good food and you can throw axes!

The manager Teresa was was amazing. We had a party of 30 that went to another place and was treated very rudely. We quickly look for another place and came cross Southern Charred, without second guessing, they welcomed us. Great service and hospitality.

Great food, service, atmosphere, music and games including tabletop games like Jenga, Connect 4, and trivia! Axe throwing available 7 days a week until 10pm (10 throws for $10)!

It’s pretty standard BBQ place. The food is alright, nothing to blow my socks off. The service was better than the food, no complaints from that! I did really enjoy the atmosphere and the access to board games!

One of my favorite places. Best mac and cheese in Raleigh in my opinion. I wish the pool tables both worked and were cleaned. Drinks are always excellent as was the rest of my meal. I'll be back.

Unquely different bbq located on Glenwood Ave. I would've gave this place 5 stars but the bartender was just okay as far as her service. There were only about 5 people at the bar so she wasn't over whelmed. I get better service at chik fil a. LolIt was my first time here. The portions are big. I had wings smothered in Alabama sauce, then Mac and cheese with brisket on top. The flavor is great. The meats are smoked. The mac and cheese was plated on a skillet so it was super hot!I would recommend this spot.

Such good food and so many fun games to play while you wait for your food. Definitely recommend the baked mac and cheese!

Went for lunch with a group, wasn't crowded at all. Food was delicious and fast. Nice atmosphere and staff. Worth a stop for sure.

Great place to have a good time. Axe throwing was awesome and Nick was a great instructor. Reasonable prices, convenient parking, and a nice atmosphere. Will definitely go again.

This is a good place for hanging out and drinking a beer or two. Beer selection was decent. Appetizers were good. If it weren't for these two, I would have given it less than 3 stars. The food was ok at best. First, or main dishes came out about 3 minutes after the appetizers, which they said was due to the chef being new. Ok. My wife and I both had the brisket, which was as tough as nails. A friend had the ribs and they were chewy. The other disappointing thing is that this place shares space with epic axe. We thought they were the same place, which is why we went there. Come to find out, they aren't and you need separate reservations if you want to throw axes. I don't think I'll be back anytime soon

Lindsay is amazing! She took such good care of us even though she was clearly busy. She helped me pick the perfect drink. I'd go back just for her

Fantastic downtown bar.Awesome craft cocktails with a solid craft draft beer selection.Tracy is a rockstar behind the bar.Very easy to get drinks and relax.Pool table, patio, great food menu, and even axe throwing!!It’s a great place to hang out and enjoy downtown Raleigh.Highly recommended!

Love their BBQ and you can't beat the variety of sauces they offer. Check out their trivia night as well, tons of fun.
