South Village Grille

Geat location and wonderful decor. We were there for Brunch and our food was delicious. Our waitress Kristen was helpful and courteous. I will be back for dinner to try another dish.

I ate at the bar...Good bartender who was knowledgeable. Food was served relatively quickly considering it was pretty crowded in the restaurant. The salmon dish was cooked perfectly and nice original presentation.

South Village Grill is a great spot to go for an afternoon or evening out. The staff is very attentive and represents the more upscale motif of the restaurant well.The specialty cocktails are well mixed and not generic. Wonderful food, great atmosphere and service. We had the New York strip, stuffed trout and short ribs. Everyone enjoyed their meals. They are very accommodating to those with food allergies as well.

My husband and I did carryout from the South Village Grille last night and had a fabulous meal! Probably the best burger I have ever eaten! Juicy, full of flavor...we'll definitely be back! Give them a try and support your local Columbus restaurants!

This place has a pretty cozy atmosphere with nice ambiance and an extensive bar. I think that's what attracts many people, as it stands out amongst the other restaurants in the area. Service is good and the bartenders are skilled and friendly, but the food is just okay from my experience. There really isn't much flavor to it, and they don't do much to elevate their dishes above the basics. I will admit, I've never tried their pizzas, so those could be their saving grace. Nonetheless you can enjoy a drink and a very pleasant dining experience at South Village Grille, as long as you're not expecting to be blown away.

The decor is wonderful in a great spot on the street. We were there for Brunch only but enjoyed our food. We both had a burger and it was very tasty. Our waitress Kristen was friendly and helpful. I'd like to go back to try the dinner menu before I rate it higher, but i'm sure it's just as delicious.

We happened upon the South Village Grille while in Columbus for the weekend. Great atmosphere and staff. Menu has a lot of variety from sandwiches to pizzas to substantial dinners. I opted for something unique, the monte cristo pizza. Good selection of beer on tap.

The meal was incredible! I ordered the burger - with the pepper jam on the side because I am not much for spicy foods. Even without the pepper jam the burger was amazing! I added it to some of my bites and it added a lot of flavor but was just a bit too much for me. The meat was top quality, the service was good, and the atmosphere was perfect! Definitely will be returning to this place again!

Tasty dishes that include crab cakes, oysters and burgers. Attentive and helpful staff. Great atmosphere, but noise level can be high. Checkout happy hour from 4 - 6 pm. No valet. Neighborhood street parking is at a premium. Reservations are recommended for weekends, especially brunch.

Great local spot. We live in GV and eat here weekly. Good menu options with seasonal updates. Knowledgable bartenders, wide range of cocktails, and daily lunch specials. Definitely recommend!

Just randomly walked into this place during my after-work walk through German Village - and have nothing to complain at all. They seated me at the bar. They had beer I like (Rothaus). The food was delicious.
