We had a nice lunch here while visiting Chicago around the holidays. We hadn't looked it up or anything in advance, just kind of chose a place near where we were. I was very happy with my meal, which was a delicious and filling salad. Everyone seemed to enjoy their food. It maybe wasn't the best place for kids. They had kids' options but no official kids' menu. I think they both just got grilled cheese, and they were fine. The waitress was really nice, and the food and drinks all seemed to come pretty quick. The location was nice too and looks like it would be really great in the summer when you can sit out on the patio looking over the river. Pleasant experience overall.

We came to this place for lunch. my friend recommended this restaurant. Well, it was very nice. the crew were so friendly and we felt good. The food was just great. We loved this spot a lot and we shall absolutely come back again. we highly recommend this place.

I like to go with friends to this restaurant with my warmest recommendations. I visit this restaurant often. This recommendation is always successful. The dishes they serve are great and the stuff is very friendly and cooperative. Every time we visit this place we have a cheerful evening. warmly recommended.

Don't understand the popularity. Drinks are overpriced and the food is a big yawn.

During the week, very corporate after work crowd type of place. Sports on TV , decent beer list and really good food. Steak sandwich was cooked perfectly and reasonably priced for the area. On the weekends, full of tourists and out of towners. Nice views of the river if you can get a table by the window. Staff really friendly and efficient. Interior is modern standard, nothing spectacular but solid

They were quite busy but we found space at the bar at lunch time. Johnny, our server, did a fantastic job and got us our delicious food lickety split.

Pretty good spot for after work happy hour - it's in a prime location on the river. The restaurant is very trendy and modern in decor. The food is good, but it's not stand out to me, prices are pretty high. Maybe I'll have to try some other things on the menu. This time I got the short rib sandwich ($16) - the braised short rib was tender and juicy and the horseradish sauce on it was flavorful. The vegetable slaw balanced it out nicely too. Toasted baguette had a good crunch. The fries were just okay, I actually ordered tater tots but it was so loud in there the waitress probably couldn't hear me and brought out fries with my sandwich instead. Overall, good place to get drinks after work if you don't mind spending money but it's a bit too loud, I don't recommend going on a date here if you want to have conversation.

Fantastic ambiance and good. Hopefully will try the drinks next time too as they have been recommended and look enticing.

Dropped in here for lunch with family. Enjoyed the intensity of downtown lunch crowd. I am glad we had reservations. Service was fast and efficient. They didn’t had Blue Moon but suggested a close equivalent Hoegaarden which I enjoyed. I tried Nothing burger 1st time. I am going to stick with regular burger😀. If you are strolling around downtown area I will suggest you drop in for lunch.

Short walk from Union station, and available paid parking close by if driving. Offers reasonably priced burgers, and quite a choice in drinks. Impossible burger available for those looking for meatless options. Outdoor seating under an umbrella next to the river on a beautiful sunny day was perfect. They also have ample indoor seating if that is your preference. Great service. This place is crazy busy @ lunch, but at 2 pm, great choice of seating, and no wait. They also take reservations.

If 6 stars was an option I'd do six. The food is simply brilliant; a cacophony of tastes and textures that meld together so perfectly as to make you wonder if you're still in Chicago and not the pearly gates. This may sound like an over exaggeration, but as a middle lower class citizen I've not tasted better food for 21 dollars. My short ribs were beautifully plated, placed upon a carrot purée with demiglazed root beer sauce. Deceptively small, this meal completely filled me and left me with feeling that I hadn't made a better choice than this all week. Seriously, if you're nearby, you would be wrong to pass this up.

The food is constantly well prepared and flavorful, employees provides fantastic customer service. I really like the cleanliness and atmosphere. I highly recommend this spot.
