I have lived in Woodley for 5 years now, and Sorriso is my favorite neighborhood gem. This place is exactly what a local neighborhood place should be: Great food, great service, and great value. My husband and I come here for brunch at least once a month (sometimes far more...) and the staff is absolutely wonderful. Even though we are regulars, whenever we bring friends or a group, the staff treats them all just as well as us, and the service is always great. The food is no different from the service, and I've yet to regret a single order here. Sorriso, please never change!

We went in just to get lunch after a day at the zoo, the employee was so hateful that I have half a mind to go back there and tell her so. She said how we had to move tables because we were at the only 3 person table and if we ( 3 of us ) weren’t gonna order 3 whole meals we couldn’t sit there. She hadn’t even let us order before she started being hateful towards us. She was the absolute worst waitress I’ve ever had in my life. They don’t deserve business and I don’t think anyone should eat there or be treated like that.

Best pizza I've ever had!! And the gelato was just as good (if not better) than real Italian gelato! Service was also friendly and professional. Highly recommended!!!

Best Italian food in an unassuming little place. Best chingale since Tuscany! Service was do do. Seems to be family owned and we didn't rate as high others but the food made up for it

By the far the most amazing Italian food I have ever had. Handmade noodles, sausage, and meatballs. All equally amazing. The owner was great, answered all of our questions and was extremely personable. The food came out hot and after sampling everything else my family had as well as my own, was consistently delicious. The service was great, the food arrived relatively quickly. The price was completely reasonable given the absolute quality of the food. We are all so glad we turned a corner and decided to give this place a try. It was some of the best food I have ever had, in a quiet, charming, family built restaurant.

Eat here. Family owned Italian restaurant with the best bread, pizza, hand made pasta, and service. Remember the cheesecake.

We came at 4 and the place was empty. The service was good and the food was lovely, but the portions were excessively small. Two of us got the lasagna (one each) and we agreed that it was outstanding, but it was half the amount of food we expected for $14. Everyone left hungry. Would not recommend unless you're willing to buy two entrees instead of just one.

home made, hand crafted, call it what you will but the chef is an artist and this modest basement establishment is truly DC's best kept Italian dining secret

Thought the food was excellent at pretty reasonable prices, would definitely recommend if you're looking for Italian in this area
