Sonny's BBQ

I used to go for lunch a few times a month, I always sit at the bar. The food is fine, the service is usually good. However, on my last visit, the bartender sneezed in his hand twice, and continued to rest his sneeze covered hand on everything, It was a slow day, he had nothing to do, so he just looked around, resting his nasty hand everywhere...I couldn't eat any more, paid my bill, in disgust and haven't been back since

Check your take out .got a$ 20.51 uber ride ,they didnt bag my whole order and wanted me to spend another 20.51$ to pick it up .why is uber charging that much for a 5 mile ride also .

The food is excellent and fair priced for the amount of food you get. Been there several times with the family and had an excellent experience every time. Don't hesitate just go!

Love the pulled pork here! The pulled pork sandwich is MY "GO-TO" DINNER! Definitely MY fav! My fiancee's fav is the pork sandwich !

Sonnys on 200 in Ocala is by far the best bar b que place in Ocala. Food cooks are the bomb. Service is great! Make sure you ask for kelsie as that is by far the best and hottest server in the restaurant business she has the kindest smile and best personality. You won’t be disappointed.

First off there were people with a animal going out of dinning area when we arrived I orded ribs ,wings wings were over done . Service seemed a bit lack luster I had to ask for sweet and low 3x this was state rd 200 Saturday in ocala when I go agin it will be to sonny's on 484 right past interstate 75 not to the 1 on 200 in ocala

When we lived in town we would go about once a week but now living so far away we don't get over there as much as I would like but it's still great food and super staff.I love it

Consistently good service and abover average BBQ. Go for the pulled pork. If you're a fan of great brisket, steer clear of theirs but the other meats are usually good. Give the Whole High sandwich a try as they really do that one well.

Awesome but the waitress was absolutely wonderful the best service I've had in a long time. I don't know what her name is but I know she was a heavy set dark skin girl with braids tied up on her head he was wonderful

Great place for all you can eat pork and chicken. The meats are perfectly cooked and smoked. All the times I've been here, the food and service have always been exceptional. The waitress is very attentive and makes sure you leave full and with a to go tea in hand before you leave. Would recommend Sonny's to any meat lover. They also have a good salad bar.

The salad bar is best. Although rather limited selection. Employees are always upbeat.

I had the brisket sandwich. They offer 2 ways, sliced to make it lean or chunky for a little bit of marbling. I opted for the sliced and French fries. It was EXCELLENT and 4 sauces to choose from so you can come up with your own favorite mix. Standard barbecue environment which I love. And they brew their own iced tea which is very good!
