Sonny's never disappoints their BBQ is excellent. The service was great considering it was outside. I always enjoy eating there. Well worth the price. I've eaten in other BBQ places but they don't compare to Sonny's.

If you don't want to smell like BBQ, this is the place to go. The food is really good, the helpings are generous, and the salad bar is fresh and has lots of options for just a couple dollars more. They have the sweetest of sweet teas, and the friendliest of wait staff.

I went to Sonny's to have a good bite of beef brisket. I do not think I made a mistake. Brisket was tasty and price is awesome. Portions were not too bad considering the price. Was not particularly in love with the boring and unpleasant service. But food was good.

Very polite wait staff. Decent salad bar, great meats! Always a go to place when I'm eating low carb. It's hard to resist their garlic bread! They have all you can eat meat options. Great for a family atmosphere.

Great service.. Missed the rush.. Arrived aprox 130 145pm.. Its calm quiet and relaxed.. Good food.. Awesome people.. Waitress: McKenzie (She is killin it! & deserves a raise!!)

Always great food and good prices. A real value for the meal. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I've eaten at other locations and I admit I like this one the best. Smelled clean and looked clean. I will be returning.

Great BBQ always at Sonny's. I have been eating at Sonny's since the first restaurant in Gainesville FL 50 years ago. Large variety of southern BBQ items. Chicken, turkey, pork, beef. Great sides with several southern favorites available. Fried okra, fried green tomatoes, and corn on the cob. Fast friendly service, clean and reasonably priced.

It was great. My server was the best ever.

Was great! Got there at peek lunch rush, a friend and I. Both had the salad bar which was nice looking and full. Each had cornbread which was melt in your mouth luscious. Server was not super attentive and could tell he was newer but none the less he was great!

I've been going to Sonny's since I was a kid to the location in Orange Park. And now wherever I live in the Jacksonville area I locate the closest location to me. I love it.
