In 1968, we were just a local BBQ joint in Gainesville, Florida. Today, we're still a local BBQ joint. We just happen to be in a few more locations. But we still do things the same way Floyd "Sonny" Tillman and his wife, Lucille, did back then. We still slow-smoke over oak for up to 12 hours at a time. We still serve generous portions. And we still believe people should be able to go out to eat and feel right at home.

I don't usually do barbecue, but the stuff here is good and reasonably priced. Great service too.

I ordered a beef brisket sandwich to go. I was so impressed with the lady running the counter. She was prompt, attentive and personable. She was the definition of customer service. She quickly took my order gave me my drink and during my short wait she kept me posted on my order and when she gave me my order she even asked if she could top off my beverage.

I love food from here. My issue tonight is the girl at the takeout counter I think her name was Audrey. She is rude on day and night shift. The eye roll she gives when you ask for extra ranch makes you want to scream and when other staff members know exactly who you're talking about just by that description you know she is an issue. My dear you are terrible with customers, read my order back to me and still gave it to me wrong. From here on out when I hear your voice I know not to come in that day.
