Sonny's BBQ

After they reopened this place is so much better. From the entire place, the staff and food it's great. So much better than before. We enjoy coming here with the family.

Slightly disappointed at this newly renovated Sonny's. We were seated at a dirty table top and water on the floor by our feet....as the former customers spilled drinks (overheard this from the waitperson informing newly seated customers) and it was obviously not cleaned up... We moved to a different table and weren't waited on for 10 minutes...The food was very good once we placed our order and ate! The new decor is a great improvement. We will be back as we frequent Sonny's regularly all over the state!!

I use to think Sonny's was awesome! NOT ANYMORE! The quality of their food was terrible. The temperature of their food was more concerning than the quality. Our food was room temp at best at was just terrible. Service is always good but we won't go back because of the food!

Has lost its edge over other bbq restaurants. The meat was dry. Corn bread is very small, a little dry, and not served with butter. Salad bar was fresh and salad dressings were good.

I been going to Sonny's for 15plus years this one servers are mad when u get all u can eat they being reorders so small 3ribs one was 3 slices of pork they remodeled the place looks very outta the box lots of prints everywhere liked the country stuff that was there but now it's gone. Hope they get there stuff together ..

Sonny's used to be a constant staple in my life years ago until I moved away, and while the food is still pretty good, the recipe for the beans was changed, and not for the better. I used to order them by the quart, and now I can't eat a single side serving. Also, the prices have massively increased, even accounting for modern costs. I moved away from the area and really looked forward to having Sonny's again when I returned, but I find myself sorely disappointed. Remember your roots... awesome BBQ at reasonable prices. And for God's sake, go back to your 1990s baked bean recipe!!!!

Love sonny's.. pulled pork is consustently my favorite. Gave 4 instead of 5 stars as the salad bar was about 50 percent empty.. 3 of us ordered it and literally took them so long to even fill lettuce that our food arrived before they were able to replace. Even then lots of empty containers.. I feel like the servers who kept walking past it on their way from the kitchen could have glanced at it and atleast told someone to fix it before it got to that point..

This place is worth visiting. They have large portions for affordable prices. Always clean and with good ambience. Highly recommended.

Clean place, nice atmosphere, friendly wait staff. They cleared a table for us right when we got there. Salad bar was extensive and well stocked. BBQ did not disappoint(especially the pulled pork and brisket) big portions and really good BBQ sauces. Great value, looking forward to going back.

This place is a pretty sad excuse for a Sonny's :( I ordered sliced brisket and I don't think I've ever seen something with so much fat on it. It was well over 60% fat. I would've gotten 3 bites of meat tops. We had 5 kids ice creams, they were all melted and separating. That's a bit worrisome that their freezer can't keep ice cream cold. Praying we don't get food poisoning :(. Choose a different Sonny's to go to.

Where do I begin. Seating us seemed to be a task and it was not even busy. When we sat down we waited 15 minutes for someone to even come by and greet us. We never knew who our server was because we never met them. We got water from I believe the manager but not for 100%. I asked for a beer sample and never even was asked if I wanted the beer... I guess that goes with never even being talked to or making sure any of our food or drinks were good. We had someone else take our order and then someone else drop off our food which took quite a bit. Food was very greasy and it was full of fat. We were handed a check by some random server after having to ask and who had no personality or was not very nice. Name on receipt was Amanda MH. Overall, it was terrible and I love Sonny’s. Very disappointing.

Ate the combination pulled pork and sliced pork platter. The quality of the meat was good. Not dry at all. The sweet sauce may have changed recently: it contains more vinegar than we remember. Great meal.

Great all around food and excellent service.

GOOD AND WELL SERVING PORTIONS OF FOOD... THE PRICE IS AFFORDABLE.... AND GOOD ATTENDINGS SERVERS......I WILL VISIT AGAIN WITH MY REST OF THE FAMILY.....

In restaurant is great but not an option right now but, delivery via Uber horrible... 2 times in a row I ordered the same thing and it was missing the cornbread 2 sides and the brisket... I don’t understand why it’s so hard to pack an order giving the situation, I have a hard time believing it’s anywhere near busy as it normally is. If I wasn’t chicken and baked beans I would’ve ordered that and not spend close to $50 for the family feast.
