Sonny's gets my votes for several reason. First of all the food was very good. I loved the southern-style grits and biscuits and gravy. Second the staff is very friendly and very courteous. I love the fact that Sonny the owner comes out of the kitchen to talk to everybody and makes everybody feel very welcome. Even all of the regular customers are very friendly and talk to you. This was my first time visiting this restaurant but it definitely will not be my last.

You want to be treated like family ....... then this is where you go.... Sonny the chef, loves his customers and it shows.... food is always great...Order fries on the crispy side... you will not be disappointed...

As I walked up to Sonny's restaurant I noticed it was tucked away like a hidden Gem:)So I walk in and finding a seat was easy and just where I wanted to sit.The waitress was pretty and very nice. The food was so amazing. The other customers were friendly as well.. many locals here.Sonny even struck a covo and was very busy making sure his business was moving forward and his customers were comfortable.I really enjoyed my first visit & will be back!Thanks Sonny & Staff..!!!

This is the best local diner you will find in the greater Danbury area. Sonny, his wife Diane, and the rest of the staff are amazing hosts and welcomed our entire family with open arms on our first visit. Really looking forward to going back again and sitting at the counter for another fun experience.

I went there a little over a week ago for breakfast and the food was great, and the waitress was very friendly. My boyfriend and I enjoyed the atmosphere. It had an older diner feel to it but the atmosphere was very relaxed. The next Saturday my boyfriend and I went there but we took his dad with us that time and even he had a great time. It is worth going there to try it at least once in your life. You will not be disappointed.
