Solorzanos Pizzeria Venice

Great pizza!!! Being from Jersey City (right next to Hoboken,NJ), I can definitely say it feels good to get real northern style pizza in the Venice area. Definitely better than all the pizzas I've had in this area!!!

Great meatball sub. Sauce, meatballs, and bread was outstanding. .could have had more Mozzarella though two small pieces.

Went there with a group of friends. Got some pizza and smaller things. Price was a bit much but the food was delicious. it took a small bit to get to the table but other than that a great atmosphere, great music, and overall great experience.

Awesome Pizza Place to come for Lunch. Always welcomed with good customer service and fresh food. 10/10 recommend

Closed down. Landlord kicked them to the curb.

We come to Sarasota once or twice a year to visit family and ALWAYS make a point to come here. Was shocked to see 2.5 star rating bc it couldn’t be any more far off from that. Loaded pizza, crunchy crust, and delicious 😋

Its 1045 on a Monday night. They advertise a closing time of 12am but was just told on the phone they're closing in 5 mins so im pretty much sol.....and now im even angrier because not only am i hungry i know i just wasted my time writing this because who really cares? I know the girl who answered the phone dont! And then the owner reads my review and replies with laughing emojis! Real professional place i can tell. I should be happy i didnt give them my money!

REAL JERSEY PIZZA!! If you are looking to have some excellent jersey pizza this is the place to go.They have amazing service the people are friendly I have never once had an issue and better yet the pizza is fresh and delicious!!!!

I would definitely say his pizza is a contender for “best in town”. Toppings were loaded and the crust is killer. Pair it with the garlic knot meatball sliders and you’ll have yourself a meal to brag about. The girls working were very friendly. I even did some work on the building for them before they opened, Phil himself was very professional and polite to work with. Would recommend to anyone.

Really good pizza. Me and my wife are from New York and visited Venice in the beginning of June and had to try this place out. I'll give it 5 stars. The pizza was awesome and the environment inside the restaurant was cool too. Must check it out if your in the area

Pizza was awesome. Sorry to see they are out of business in this location. Will visit other locations to get our Friday night pizza fix

When I came back to Florida after five years this is the first place I went to I used to go to a lot of different places and try pizza but I don’t need pizza anywhere else these people are so kind they have a place on the wall where you can buy a slice and if you’re hungry you can go get you a sticky note and get you a free slice of pizza the hearts of these guys are just amazing go get you some
