Sofa King Juicy Burger

Burgers were dry. Ordered bacon on my burger and I got a half a piece. Fries tasted like they had been sitting around for a while. My husband ordered the cheese fries and the cheese came out black on top and not melted on the bottom. Shake was good but very thick and more like soft serve ice cream.

Awesomely eclectic place. The fries are fresh cut and seasoned usually (tasty!). The onion rings are the best; they're battered with Aretha Frankenstein's pancake batter (Aretha Frankenstein's is a different restaurant in town that you have to try if you haven't). This trip I had to try "the magnum"; it's two wieners topped with bacon, a fried egg, cheese, and sriracha (WOW)!!!

We used to love this place. But the past few times we have gone, it's been a sad experience. We know it's a small place and the food can sometimes take a little longer. Typically we don't mind because the service is great and we love burgers from them and every thing comes out perfect. BUT the past few times we've waited longer than normally and orders have been wrong. The service has sucked, and nothing has been good. Went today... Ordered the awesome burger with grilled mushrooms and onions on it. Got a burger with nothing on it but grilled onions and mushrooms. My husband's burger had all of the toppings that came with his burger... And my toppings. Also ordered fried mushrooms. Got a mushroom cap. Just a mushroom cap. Which didn't make a bad side actually, but not quite what I ordered. But we waited forty five minutes for a burger and then had to wait another fifteen for them for them to put the toppings on. Got a cold burger...

It's a small place and I feel like it's understaffed at times. It can get packed on the weekends so plan on going earlier if you want to eat dinner there. The waiter was nice and checked up on us frequently but their cheese fries and regular fries were way too salty. You'd have to drown it in ketchup for it to taste like a normal fry. The burger was good but the shake was more like ice cream. It isn't liquidy at all like the shakes at steak n shake. It's not a bad place for burgers but the additional sides weren't worth it. I'd recommend bad daddy's or red robin (both in Hamilton) over this.

The burgers are good, I won't say they aren't, I am in love with the hot hamburger salad...BUT I can get a great burger elsewhere without the hassle. We went when it was NOT busy and waited over 30 minutes for our meals. The folks next to us waited even longer and their order was screwed up. The folks behind us didn't even get all their meals. If you need anything, anything at all, be prepared to go get it yourself. I experienced serious secondhand embarrassment at the poor service basically everyone in the store got to experience that night.

Good food and good atmosphere. I wound give them more stars but I ordered a falafel burger and got a beef burger. Having never eaten there before I had no idea what the falafel burger loved or tasted like so didn't know any better until I ordered a falafel burger to go. Got home and saw it and realized my previous burger was meat...

Delicious burger and onion rings. I ordered a custom made, which included a whole wheat bun. There is a choice of Angus or grass fed beef. I had a 12 oz chocolate milkshake, but for $5.49 it would have been nice to have some malt in it. That’s an expensive shake! I should have asked for whipped cream and extra chocolate. It wasn’t nearly chocolatey enough. It’s the only reason why I didn’t give Sofa King 5 stars. They have a large variety of beers. Love the laid back funky vibe of the place.

Omg, this place is awesome! Stumbled in with my husband, he had the falafel burger and I had the Awesome Burger, omg, si awesome! And they're onion rings are breaded with Aretha Frankenstein's batter, SO GOOD!!!

Can't tell you if the food is good or not because we didn't get that far. We sat directly in the center of the restaurant and was one of only two tables when we arrived. Waitress brought us waters and forgot about us. It took over 15min to get our drink order taken then we were forgotten about again. At the 30min mark we left concerned about the sobriety of the staff. To bad, was looking forward to trying this place.

One of the best burgers I've ever eaten! So, so delicious!

This little burger joint is a find! The menu’s variety of offerings (burgers and hot dogs) is deceptive because what you get here is exceptionally tasty and generously portioned servings of food. A happy diversion from the traditional ground beef burger menu for those avoiding meat, Sofa King’s crispy & golden outside, perfectly seasoned falafel burger was dressed with just the right amount of tzatziki sauce. Had mine on the gluten-free bun and couldn’t have been happier. The yummy crispy fried cauliflower side with spicy dip was enough for three of us to share. Service was excellent. Food arrived fresh and hot, and within a reasonable amount of time one would think it takes to cook fresh food. Will definitely be back!!

The burger with strawberry jam is really good. Very interesting flavor that works well. Fries are good, tried the fried cauliflower last time but wasnt a big fan.

Definitely one of the best burgers I've ever had. I love the build your own. Fried sides are good too.

At first glance the burger is different but tasted great with a sweet taste

The food was good, the wait was long. Waited approx 45 minutes for a salad, burger and fries. I will go back but it may be a little while, the fries were good but not good enough for that long of a wait.
