We arrived a little after 6:00 and had no problem getting a table for 2. Trudy was an awesome server! I ordered the grilled chicken with steamed broccoli and my husband ordered the blackened trout. Both meals were delicious! The chicken had a wonderful flavor and was not dry. The homemade hush puppies and chips were great to munch on. It was our anniversary so the waitress gave us free slices of pie. The key lime pie was so good with a homemade crust. We will return when we visit again!

I want there with my wife and sister. Wanted to show my sister around seeing she is from Pennsylvania. I ordered a cheese burger and half way thru the burger I noticed it started to taste funny. Didnâ€™t eat the rest. That night I started to get stomach pains as well as feeling nauseous. Next came the diarrhea which lasted way into the next day. Would not recommend this place.

They have a great many items that are gluten free, including smoked and blackened trout, steaks, etc. I have a gluten intolerance and always find a great many items that I can have when we visit. Being such a small restaurant, if your allegy is severe, I would call first to make sure they have the ability to prepare your food in a gluten free environment.

Yes

They do their best to debone the trout for you but there may still be a few small bones. They do offer a very good fried catfish dinner also.

The Trout House is an institution in Gatlinburg..we've been going there for over 40 yrs. Always the very freshest trout, always delicious, atmosphere homey and welcoming, service excellent. If u want the very best Smokey Mtn. trout meal go to The Trout House.
