Brisket was amazing with crispy edges and coleslaw was great, not overly sweet or tangy. Loved the house pickles too.

Little pricey, delicious food. They make their own sauces which is impressive. A lot of the menu was common dishes but a handful were unique and yummy.Main negative was price and ants at the tables. Outdoor seating next to the Fountain of Youth.

A cozy place to grab a quick bite, after a long road trip to St. Augustine, this was the perfect conclusion. Both my mum and I kept it simple and got cheeseburgers and fries, but we didn't expect how delicious everything was. The fries are amazing and the burgers are very flavorful! Would definitely eat there again even if we didn't visit Fountain of Youth.

Tried burgers all over the city on vacation. Other places had great buns, this place has a wonderful burger!

Stumbled upon this place on our visit to the Fountain of Youth. The food is excellent! We spent 3 days in St. Augustine. We went to many of the highly recommend restaurants in town, and were very disappointed. This was by far our favorite meal! We ordered the pulled pork platter with beans and slaw and the Cuban sandwich with fries. We ate at picnic tables and it was a beautiful day. Everything was great and prices were reasonable. The lady at the counter who took our order was a little unfriendly, though.

Barbara was simply AMAZING & the food is pretty damn delicious. It is definitely worth driving over to the Fountain of Youth just to eat here. Luckily it is located on the outside of the paid entry area so you don't have to go in the park itself. A+ seriously!

Great people working there, and the BBQ is awesome. The French Onion soup is the best I have had.

Its actually Five Flags Cafe, not Smoked Southern BBQ, its a nice little cafe. We ate here when we went to the fountain of youth(next door). Great menu, I had a chicken Cesar wrap and fries with a drink. Food was very good, people were friendly and courteous and prices were fair(for a tourist town) would definitely recomend

Great BBQ, Family and I did the train tour and stopped here as its one of the last stops, convenient location near gift shop. We shared Brisket, Ribs and Chicken loved all three perfectly cooked and flavorful. Ribs fall off the bone chicked does not which is great and the Brisket not too moist or dry just right.

This is a hidden gem! You can park for free here at the fountain of youth and have an incredible burger or quesadilla, etc. I have been to a few burger places and this place takes the cake! If you're on the look out for a tasty burger and fries, I couldn't recommend this place more! Costs about $10.50 for burger, fries and a drink. You can't beat that price, especially since the burger is simply amazing!

The food here is WOW!! We just spent a seven day vacation in St. Augustine and chose somewhere to eat out at each day, we all agreed (myself, husband and our two boys) that the food here was among the most memorable. Melt in your mouth, so tender and flavorful, better than just BBQ, delicious homemade sauces, can’t wait to go back, good! We thought the prices were very reasonable for fresh high quality food. We even visited their local butcher shop, Chop Shop, (with their bring your Smoked. Southern BBQ receipt and receive 10% off offer) and picked up some great items to take home!

Awesome food. Nice to see local restaurants getting involved in tourism, letting the flavor of StA shine.
