It was really good food. They dealt very well with the large crowd we brought in. Our waitress was on top of her game! Thanks for the birthday wishes yeehaw

The ribs were tender and good.

We had a party of 30 come here last night and I wish I could rate 10 stars. They were quick, attentive and the food was delicious!! When the group got back to the hotel, we were still talking about how delicious the food was and quickly we were served. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Good food at a great price, however I was not impressed with the canned green beans. Everything else was great!

It's a tiny little place in the mall. There is some of the stock stacked up in the corner of the dining room. There is not a wall without several pictures. But the food was amazing, the service was outstanding (even though they were busy, busy, busy) and the prices were great. Not our favorite location, but it could definitely draw us back. We have tried a lot of things and everyone of them has been great,and some of the nicest people you would ever want to meet! You want good food you have to try Smo-King Pit!

Good BBQ in a strange location (hidden away ina a side entrance to the mall). We found this place on accident. The ribs were great, though the sauce was a bit heavy (although they offered to serve it on the side when we ordered).

This family-owned restaurant has the best smoked meat in Peoria. Try the pulled pork sandwich or the bbq ribs! The menu is quite extensive and very reasonably priced, so you can meet your friends or family at the Northwoods Mall and have lunch or dinner in between shopping. In addition to pork, you can choose from smoked chicken and brisket, fried catfish, sandwiches and burgers, salads, and wraps--lots of great choices! If you are still hungry, they have banana pudding, sweet potato pie, and cheesecake for dessert!

I always enjoy stopping in at the Smo-King Pit. Delicious food at reasonable prices. Friendly service and now very convenient pick up window just inside one of the main entrances at Northwoods Mall!!! You cannot go wrong!

We were looking for some ribs and this place came up in Trip Advisor. Seeing that it was in the mall made us hesitant to try it. It was getting late in the day so we said let's give er a go.... I am so glad we did!! At first I was like "oh boy this may be a mistake" but as soon as the wings came out I was so glad we tried it. The ribs were so juicy and flavorful. The catfish fillet was breaded and cooked perfectly. They had brisket but I really didn't care for it... just my personal taste. They brought a bottle of the BBQ sauce to the table and I dipped my fries in it cuz it was so good. I highly recommend liking past the fact that it is in a mall and give this place a try.

Went there last night for the first time and it was very clean and everyone was very nice and was very helpful since I been a chef for 35 yrs I know my food and they are doing it right and I will be back many times

Outstanding. Had a large group there for a birthday dinner. Food was amazing. Service was perfect, prices more than reasonable. And surrounded by signs all over the wall uplifting Christ. A truly wonderful gem, in the mall of all places. We'll be back.
