Smitty's Restaurant & Lounge

Although the food was good and the waitress was attentive, service was extremely slow. We waited for approximately 40 minutes to get a couple of sandwiches and fries. And there was hardly anyone there. We've been here previously when this was not the case but it's aggravating none the less.

Excellent assortment of menu items, very clean and welcoming, large patio with lots of room for groups with multiple tables. Food came timely and hot. Everyone loved their meal in our group. Some members kf our group ate there multiple nights in a row due to how good their first experience was. Looking forward to returning.

Good food and great service. Would have liked to have had more of their great bread.

Went here for a Christmas party for the past 2 years. I can say one thing for sure. The bar tender is amazing and very professional! Great service!

Definitely worth checking out. Cheese curds were lightly breaded and cooked perfectly. Homemade Mariana sauce really set them off. Lasagna and chicken parm were both done perfectly. Lots of cheese on the lasagna and chicken parm was done perfectly. Salads with the meal came with chickpeas, which was different more me. Salads could have used a bit of cheese but besides that, was an amazing experience.

Service was awesome, food so so...we usually have a great meal this time not so much, waitress did try to make it right....will give it another try.

First time visiting but, defiantly will not be the last. I was a little confused about what to expect with a kinda upscale casual menu options when looking online then arriving and having waiters and waitress in a more formal attire. But that was all lost on me after the service we received. It has been a few weeks since we visited and me writing this review so the waiters name has lapsed my memory but, his service was one that you would find at an all inclusive resort. He knew the menu like the back of his hand, and the attention to detail with his recommendations to complement our drink to food choices was outstanding!

Smitty's Italian Steakhouse is always a good restaurant choice. A variety of food choices available with Italian being a specialty. Full bar and wine list available. There is a large outdoor patio seating area which is fun during the warmer months. The bldg is old and interesting on the west side of Evansville.

I loved the atmosphere and food. The service was excellent as well. And the pricing is fair.

Excellent customer service! I was a little Leary at first, but then left with a smile once our concerns were addressed and properly handled! We will be coming back!

Never had an Italian cooked steak before but it was delicious and the cut was huge. Has a different taste than what you would get at a longhorn style steak place. Awesome atmosphere.

My sirloin steak was amazing. Cooked to perfection. My family got the baked spaghetti and they loved it too. Usually we talk alot during dinner but tonight we were silent because we were enjoying our food so much that no one wanted to take time away from the amazing food.

Food is always good, the wait was very long after we ordered. Service was not great. Waited for a long time for drink refills.

Smitty's is located on Franklin street in Evansville Indiana. It has inside and outside seating. It also has a seperate room that you can reserve for gatherings or parties. They also have a bar area. The food is delicious. We started off with hot and spicy wings for an appetizer. Then I had the fried shrimp lunch special with fries. While my wife had the lasagna. Service was wonderful. It's definitely worth a try.
