A classic. Slippery Noodle is a must stop. There's a reason it's Indiana's oldest bar. They are no frills, good food, good drinks, good location, good live music almost every night. If you've never been or are just stopping through Indy and need a drink, stop there.

Great music from house band. Didn't like that there was a cover but nothing special going on.

My fiancé and I went up to Indy about a year ago and we pretty much stumbled up on this place and can’t stop talking about the slippery noodle. Amazing vibe ,mood and character! The entertainment was so good we closed the bar down that night . One key thing I noticed was the amount of diversity ,that’s 5 ⭐️ for me right there in itself .It is definitely a go too if you like an older vibe and love to dance and kick it .....I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT !!!!

I do not write reviews often, but this time it's well deserved. I have a severe shellfish allergy, and am very picky about where I eat, as some places can't accommodate this, or don't take it seriously. This establishment is by far one of the most accommodating places I have ever visited. The general manager is the best, the staff is wonderful, and the atmosphere is amazing, and food is tastes great. This establishment has proven, once again, that less is more. We visited Indy for 3 days, and came here 2 of those 3 days. It's our new favorite. I would be here every weekend if we loved closer.

This place is always a must visit when I'm in Indy. The house brew is great (If you like IPA's). I've become a big fan of blues music but the bands can be hit or miss. You'll have that, but I go whenever I'm in Indy

Such an old and interesting place. Local ghost tours claim there's spirits floating around here besides in your glass. Multiple rooms and 2 stages, with bars to accommodate the patrons. Pretty long menu, too. I think the bands only play blues which is good for me and it seems busy any time I walk in. Older crowd that behaves itself and you don't have to worry about fights or crime even though you're downtown Indy.

My first visit I had an amazing waitress so sweet even took us to show the history my food was delicious. 2nd visit was horrible. My food was cooked wrong not happy make sure when you ask for something you really specify what you want and don't want on it cause apparently the word without is ignored.

Food, music, & history in one location! The oldest continually-operating bar in Indiana (established 1850), expanded and serving a variety of American-style foods. Nice serving sizes, and we had good service for our group of 14. Check out the history of the place, which includes things like a brothel, a murder, the Underground Railroad, and tons of celebrity visits. John Dillinger's bullets can still be seen in the wall. Would return!

Went for New years Eve. Had a great time and great service. There was live music, but I wouldn't classify it as blues. This was my second visit and I was disappointed with the music. Live music but not blues. Otherwise a lovely place and a good time.
