Slim Chickens

OMG!! This food is AMAZING. I love the french fries. When I go to Slim Chicken i always get a salad because it tastes soooooo awesome. I recommend this place to EVERYONE. They deliver your food fast and its fresh. Me my mom and my brother didnt even get to settle down at a seat because the food was already there.

Food is good. Enjoy the buffalo blue salad that they are discontinuing so sad...love the fried pickles and mushrooms also

Having my daughter try alternative types of chicken for fast food and she put this above 3 other places and is her number one.

Too much salt on the fries, but overall good experience and friendly service.

The food is good, but oh my goodness are they slow on Sundays. We had carryout multiple times and even calling 15 min ahead doesn't seem to help; we're still waiting an additional 10-15 min for our order when we arrive; but the food is good if you're willing to wait during peak lunch times.

It's been a few weeks since I last came here but the management at this restaurant is the worst I have ever seen. Chris? I believe is the name in big tacky letters on the door when you walk in. The service here was slow, probably due to the fact I watched one young lady stop to socialize with her friends while on the clock. I dinned in months ago and there was a leak in the ceiling. I dinned in again two weeks ago and the same leak was STILL there. So that being said, I guess the solution has been to keep a bucket in the middle of the floor everyday for months. My family has been in the restaurant business for years. When problems aren't taken care of in a timely manor and the staff is unprofessional, it's obvious to me that the general manager lets whatever fly. Needless to say.. I will not be coming back.

Food was great!! Their honey mustard has excellent flavor. Mac and cheese wasn't that bad either!

The register worker did a fantastic job. He checked on us to see if we needed anything. I wish I knew his name because we go there often and by far best employee. It was the night the coke machines were down and he said he was bummed to because he wanted a Dr. Pepper. Hopefully you can figure it out and give him kudos.

First time here. Was pretty ok. Just another chicken place. We had the grilled tenders. I may change this if I get the chance to try something else.

Always great food. This location also has the best service for Slim's in the metro.

Ok so these guys got it going on. I walked in at 10:45 and was greeted immediately. I ordered a chicken, bacon and Ranch sandwich and my grandaughter got the chick meal. My sandwich was excellent and my grandaughter(a chicken expert) really liked the chicken strips. Nice selection of tea’s also. This restaurant was exceptionally clean.I was also impressed with the staff who checked on us twice to make sure we had everything we needed(rare for fast food places).Will definitely be coming back.

Recently moved from the far Southside to the far Northside. The Slim's on S. Western was always one of my favorite places, so I was looking forward to checking out the Edmond location.It's not quite the same; it feels bigger, and certainly is brighter, thanks to many more windows. I especially like the outdoor seating area, which is covered here rather than out in the open.Same great food, same great service. The hand-battered fried mushrooms are just as excellent as always.Some reviews have mentioned slow service through the drive-through. Well, that's part of what sets Slim's apart: all food is cooked to order. That's the only way to guarantee good, hot, quality food. If you can't wait a few minutes for them to make your order fresh, there's plenty of other places with dessicated food that's been sitting under a heat lamp for far too long. But not at Slim's.

2.5 stars. I had high hopes for this restaurant. Clever name. Gangsta chicken mascot. Lots of sauces to choose from. I assumed that since they are named for chicken then It must be good chicken -chick fil always delivers great food.Maybe we came on an off night but the massive amount of salt was awful and ruined our food. The chicken strips were tough in spots and dried out and salty. The fries would have been great if they weren't so salty.The bbq sauce and ranch were good. If the food wasn't so overwhelming salty it would have been good.
