I am so excited to have this type of hotpot in Boston now. Good food quality and so many types of food there. Must try it!

Run, run away as fast as you can. Frozen and overpriced skewers will not only disappoint your palate, your mood, and your wallet. Over-staffed waiters were running around but nobody cared if they served your order... Missed my order twice, oops.

The environment is nicely decorated, but there are small fruit flies next to the area for self service sauce. For a restaurant with its price range, cleanness is somewhat a minimum requirement. For the the visit today, the tofu was slightly sour. It means that it was not fresh. The same goes for the noodles. It seems that the noodles is not fresh either. It is not likely that I will go back to this restaurant by my own choice. They also charge for the spice oil and spices package that were not used. The other food quality and taste is okay, but for the price they are charging, overall quality should be better.

Was so excited to have the first skewer hot pot in Boston. I was never really a huge fan of hot pot as no matter what the food is, after cooking in hot pot and dipping in the sauce, they all taste pretty much the same. And the main difference between the skewer hot pot and a regular one is that all food on the skewer are marinated in their Six Po signature recipe and they all taste awesome and authentic! The cilantro beef and pickled pepper beef are must try as you don't really have the similar ones at other restaurants. Some other dishes and desert came as a surprise as well, the Brown Sugar Glutinous Rice Cask and the Crispy Pork are my favorite except for the main hot pot food. We managed to avoid the long line on a Saturday night since we had a party of 8 and made a reservation in advance, I heard that they don't take reservations for party less than 6 now, so it's probably wise to just stop by early and get your name on the list first so that you'll have the table on time.

Interesting experience, not a place I’ll go back. The service was great but meat quality is pretty much none existent, most of them are tiny meat cubes heavily seasoned and tenderized that even they’re not fresh meat you won’t be able to tell. The value is very bad, there were 2 of us, spent over $90 for the meal, none of us were full, where most hot pot places, with this cost you’ll get nice quality meat and be satisfied with what you ate. Lastly, I think they reuse the sticks to serve the skewers since most of them have an oily touch to it and spots of burned marks.

Awesome place for hot pot! All meats are well seasoned and it is a great idea that you can pick your skewers to try different things. Beef with cilantro is my favorite. Can't wait to go back again!

Food was ok, but it’s totally overpriced. 3 guy spent $200 but and still feel hungry when we back home. I should go for shadu hotpot instead

Authentic Sichuan hotpot. Love the extra spicy soap base. Hot pot smell last inside and out.

Unfortunately, I've been spoiled by America's capitol of intl foods - NYC. I lived there for almost 20 yrs and hope to return when I'm cleared by my medical teams at DFCI and Boston's Spaulding Rehabilitation Center. The seasoning station was a nice touch but the restaurant's tremendously overpriced and I've enjoyed higher quality and tastier traditional Chinese ingredients.

My girlfriend was doing FB intern and went there for dinner on July 5. She felt vomiting right after it and kept diarrhea the entire day today. There are definitely some food issues there. #angry

Definitely the place for authentic hot pot cuisine and experience. The food is tasty and there's a variety of options, and the servers are very nice and helpful. Looking forward to many more hot pot sessions to come!

Nice place with very decent seats and environment. Plenty of choices for hotpot. The key thing is the flavor that meets your spicy needs! Make sure to make appointment early so that you dont have to wait!

Won't go again. Don't really understand why all waiters seemed extremely busy when they didn't actually need to serve dishes. Very unprofessional staffs. The soup base was okay but the skewed food were not very fresh. Selection was limited, no chicken, no lamb. The shape of the pot was not appropriate for skews. It was also very overpriced. If you are looking for a hot pot place to go with friends, this is not the place.

One of the best chuan chuan I’ve ever had! definitely a legit Chinese restaurant to visit in Boston. The milk tea options over there are awesome too!

Decent selection and good atmosphere. However it is overpriced. Never imagined I would spend $50 by myself on hotpot.
