The bartender is friendly and attentive. The split pea and ham soup is excellent. The inside decor is authentic looking. The Scotch eggs are serve good but they’re good.

Pretty cool pub. I rate it higher than post pubs based on the quality taps, the ambiance, and the friendly staff.

Great food with authentic feel. Very popular, so there may be a short wait. It's worth it!

Fun haunted bar! Cold beer and great atmosphere! Do you see the soldier in the window? Didn’t realize I had captured this until the next day. Go see for yourself. You may see him too!

Delicious! Shepherds pie & scotch eggs were yummy. So was the creme brulee we shared. The beer was good too. Staff was friendly and helpful in deciding what to order.

This place is amazing. It’s exactly what you would expect from a pub. I know a number of bars call themselves a pub in an attempt to seem cultured, but this is not one of those occasions. The menu offered all the right fare and the service was the best I experienced in Savannah. To answer the most important question you may have, yes, they have air conditioning. Which you will find very pleasant nine months of the year.

BLUF: Mediocre and overpriced food. This is my 3rd-4th time trying six pence. As always, the atmosphere was pretty good and the service is pretty authentic British (if you know what I mean - not the best). England is my second home and I continue to give six pence a shot when looking for a good British pub meal. However, they continue to fall short of my reasonable expectations.

Found this nice little English pub in downtown Savannah. Inside is decorated nicely and even has a British phone box outside. All this is really good and the staff are also very pleasant. The only issue was that although the food was nicely themed as English, it was quite americanized. For instance the gravy on the beef and mashed potato was the gravy you have with biscuits rather than what the English would call gravy. (Meat tones and runny with a deep rich flavour). So being English I was a bit disappointed in that. Also no Fish and chips on the menu. Overall though it was nice enough. Maybe they need an English chef???1

A true gem of a pub in the Savannah historic district. Great imported beers and the pub menu was delicious. The bar, facade, and phone booth were imported from England. Strongbow on tap. All the usually pub food items were fantastic. You can even bring your dog and sit outside.

Friendly service and good food. My mom and I sat outdoors when we visited, which was a nice seating arrangement. I tried the Shepherd's Pie. It was delicious, even on a hot summer day!

I have stopped here over the last 18 years each trip to Savannah. I believe it a wonderful place as it has a Reuben that beats any I've ever had. Lean corned beef, marbled rye, I like the shepard's pie, the roast, and any sandwich choice. It's clientele is predominately local; wait staff has always been pleasant and helpful. I don't drink but they have a great selection of ales and beers. At least for me I absolutely love eating here.

Great food and atmosphere. Made me think of the pubs and restaurants I loved in England and Ireland. I had a chicken salad sandwich and it was delicious!
