Sip Club

Good place for drinks. 25+ish crowd. Lots of choices for bourbon and craft beer. Some pretty good vegan and vegetarian options on the menu. Bartenders / owners are super friendly.

My go-to place in Guelph for casual drinks with friends and maybe some shared food. Lovely atmosphere and cozy patio out back

Great food and atmosphere, but the service is often lacking. I have been to the Sip Club many times, and on multiple occasions I have waited 5 to 10 minutes for my drink order to be taken (when sitting at the bar, where I am in clear sight of the bartender). Would deserve a 5-star review with better service. Last night at the Sip Club my drink was empty and I waited more than 10 minutes to be asked if I wanted another drink, while a staff member who was also sitting at the bar next to me was served 3 separate drinks in the time that I waited. Service like that makes me not want to go back, but I inevitably return when other pubs in the area are full. (Hint, perhaps Sip Club is not full because of the poor service!)

Owner was friendly and the vegan food was great! They have a duplicate KFC gravy right down to the gelatinous texture. The selection of craft beers was awesome. Definitely a spot to go, specially if you want some vegan food.

Excellent little spot for a summer evening drink. Nice prices on pints and a proper glass 20oz to boot. Highly recommended the back patio.

Not the worst bar I've been to downtown. Waitress was okay, bar was a bit unprofessional closing down early due to it being a slow Sunday.Their food was OK. Not the best wings I've eaten and one of the bigger ones were raw. Their shrimp was good. Alright selection of beers.

Short Ribs were cooked to perfection, great staff and atmosphere. This is my go to spot to unwind after a long day during the week and let loose on weekends.

Sip Club was a exciting environment for live open mic music. We went had a wonderful time, great music, excellent service and delicious tasting food with great friends. This place I give a 10 out of 10. Located in downtown Guelph!
