This place has a great healthy menu that is constantly changing. The farmers market has a wide variety of fresh fruits and vegetables that are really tasty. The outdoor environment is a great place to sit down and relax in the grass or in a giant chair near the lake. It's a nice calm place where you can sit a d just bask in the sun

It’s cute. It’s like a tiny grocery store with fresh local produce, honey, bread, jams, etc. and then a counter to buy cooked food. Lots of open space for taking walks with the pup or for letting kids run around.

Good prices on locally grown produce and a kitchen that serves amazing food. The plating is beautiful and tastes better than it looks.

Wonderful place to relax and have breakfast or lunch. The Indian Tacos are probably my favorite item on the menu. Also enjoy the fresh juice options.

Lovely and beautiful hidden gem and the owner took the time to talk to the customers and talk about the history of the market. Would visit again in the future!

What a great spot! The amount of space to let littles run around and play is amazing. There is a pond and ducks to help entertain. If you don’t get there early, expect a line. Food is decent but I was disappointed that the menu online is nothing like what is actually offered. Only two food options were available in addition to pastries. Either way, worth the visit!

Beautiful place. Great produce and price! Lines are a bit long and they only have one register is the only down fall. I was going to go back and grab a jar of honey before leaving but the line was too long.

We love stopping by for fresh vegetables and sometime even a great meal there from the cafe! The patio is inviting and plenty of space to picnic and relax. Great Moringa powder and local honeys too!

Loved it! Had a great lunch of roasted squash and swordfish Tacos. Bought fresh bread, produce and some delicious pub cheese. Gets a bit crowded around the check out counter because there is limited space. I am sure when the weather is cooler they put more outside. I will be back. 😀

This place is really awesome. If you want a place that in the city but it feel like your in the middle of no where this is the place to be. If you feel hungry feel free to grab something from there food menu and everything that they make was grown or raised there.

We absolutely love Singh Meadows. Ken is an incredibly caring person, who takes excellent care of his customers and visitors, not only through his knowledge, but through the products he sells. There is a serious focus on taking care of people through taking care of the earth, the foods we grow and the eat, and community. (The person complaining about dogs not being provides bowls of water is simply ridiculous and unfair. Dogs are allowed, that’s great! Most places don’t allow dogs. It is the pet owners responsibility for providing water.)

Questions & Answers

It is in burlap sacks.

Singh Meadows is closed for summer 2019 and will re-open fall 2019.

Yes. The produce and the food they serve in the cafe. It's all awesome too.

Yes, very pet friendly accept your dog will not be allowed inside the market.

I believe they are, you can check their page on Facebook for mroe specific details.

Their compost is made from organic food scraps. They have several kinds, one a finer, more pure grind, the other is mixed with larger ground wood pieces suitable for mulch. Choose depending on your needs. Yes, there is someone to put it into your car for you. At their old location on Thomas Rd and the 101 East Loop you can buy either compost by the truckload, loaded with a front loader. Viait their Singh Farms Facebook page for more info and to contact them directly. They do not monitor this listing

Open the top of the bag while in your trunk and use a shovel and a bucket to make the trips to your garden until you can lift the bag out. It's worth it!

Yes, they have composted soil available both at Singh Farms on the 101 East Loop/Thomas Rd, and Singh Meadows next to the back of Big Surf in Tempe. Go to Singh Farms Facebook page for days and hours they are open for compost sales. By the PICKUP load is the best option! I recommend 1/2 of fine and 1/2 of chunky separately so you can fine-tune your garden needs. They load your truck with a front-loader. I personally found all chunky difficult for seeds and young seedlings, so I put chunky down first then about 4" of fine on top. After they sprouted 6", I would put another 2-3" of chunky on top as a mulch to limit evaporation. You can successfully grow lettuce and other cool crops in summer by buying white chiffon or cotton lace curtains at Goodwill on $1 days, then suspending them on stakes over the bed. Depending on what you're growing, my supporting stakes stood 3' high screwed to the inside of the bed. OUTSTANDING Heirloom garden! Buy HEIRLOOM seeds for the SW.
